Will there be support for a Google Chrome plugin ? I no longer use FF and miss the function.

AFAIK, Google Chrome does not support 3rd party add-ons so far.
However, you can try MS IE way to add a link/button on the toolbar. Something similar to:
http://www.myibay.com/download/myibay-bid.htm

Do you mean it did not work or you did not try it yet?

I dont have it installed - I still have FF - just don't use it any more so its a pain to have to fire it up just for one thing - they also announced yesterday that they will support addons in the future - probably via seamonkey or similar - so you can bet its going to be soon knowing the G.

I'll keep my eye on it.

In any case, if you decide to put Chrome back, you could try to use IE button on it as I suggested above.
