I use ebay.de and some of the auctions are giving me invalid item ID when I try to add them. I can bid manually so something is defiantly wrong in the software.

I can not check it without the item numbers.
Please let me know at least 1 or 2 auctions which give you this problem so I can check and update if needed.

You can send it by Contact form if you don't want to share it in this public forum.

Here is one example 380092522418 - the auction is over but that should not make any difference. I got the same problem with several auctions.

I was able to add it with no problems.
Do you have another account to try?
Or maybe you can let me know what eBay user id (no password) you use so I can check it as well?

I tried 380093503006 and was able to do it with no problems.
I use the stand-alone Windows application too.

Can you please try to add this item using Web-based version?
Additionally, please make sure that you have the latest Windows application.

A few more questions:
1. Are you logged in when adding a new item?
2. Do you have other items in your list?
3. Are you having the same problem with other items?

Let me know the results.

I use v 1.0.38 build 342 as trial version. I have not tried the web version and are not happy about putting my password on some server that could be hacked and abused so I really hope you can fix the problem in the stand alone version. I am from Denmark, in case that means anything to your ebay ID check. I can only add items when logged in. It seems to be related to some sellers and not others. If one item from a seller works other items seems to work as well, if one item is not working, no items from that seller works.

First, I would like to clear some things.
The stand-alone software helps you to manage your items easily, but all snipes goes through the server (that's why you don't have to run the software for your snipe to perform).
myibay is server-based sniper. It uses the highest security (higher than your local PC) to avoid external hacking and abuse.

If you don't want to give your password information, that's fine. You can register another account on eBay for sniping only.
I have a process which cleans all inactive accounts, but if you want me to remove it manually without waiting, I can do it for you.

Back to the problem.
Myibay does not do any checks on your user id regarding location.
But I think I found what was the problem and made some updates for it.
Please try again and let me know how it worked for you.

Success, I can add the items now. But there is another bug. When I place the bid in the details window it says "Your bid can not be equal Bye It now price If you want to bid so high, then consider just Buy It Now instead". My bid is not high and the auction do not even have a buy it now price.

Maybe this auction had BIN price when you added.
You can try to refresh it to make sure you updated all information about this item and try again.
On another hand, this is just a warning. If this auction does not have BIN anymore, it will snipe anyway.

If you still have this problem, can you please let me know which item number?
