Hey, I was wondering.. This thing looks nice and all but what if an item is selling for $0.99 and you put $2 for your sniper, what if someone makes the highest bid at $5 like 2 days before the auction ends but you do not know..

I think you should add the option so you can put your MAXIMUM bid (like proxy bidding) and it will pay the least it can and if it goes over the max, don't bid at all..

Welcome to our forums.

Yes, this is exactly how it works -- you put your absolute maximum and snipe will do the rest using eBay's proxy bidding system.
The highest bidder wins.

Yes, the max is what your bid.
But you will win at the lowest price enough to outbid the previous bidder (if it's lower).

You may need to check how eBay proxy bidding system works to understand it better.
