Will my snipe be at the price I set or the lowest possible winning price? e.g. current bis is $5.00, my snipe is 10.00. Will my snipe be entered at 5.50 or 10.00?

Your final bid will be at the lowest possible price (if nobody else bid higher, of course).
In your example that will be 5.50 when auction is over.
