I was wondering whether it was necessary to put what kind of form of payment you use on your ibay main page?
I mean...will my bid still be valid if the payment status states "zero"?

This field is for your records only so you can keep a track on your auctions.
It does not affect your bids so it's safe to keep it "zero".
