I was bidding on an item. Time was set to the default 6 seconds at a price of $4.50. The final winning price was $4.34. When I checked the bid history of the item I wasnt even on the list. 0_o Why did this happen?And what can I do to prevent future occurrences?

You did not specify your item number, but from this information I can see that you did not win due to eBay's bid increment system.

Oh. The item number was 250450283037. But thanks for the info. So your saying because the incriment system in at intervals of 25 cents and my bid was only 16cents off it didn't bid?

That's correct.
The bid increment is different and depends on the current bid range.
