Unfortunately, eBid has a very low traffic and popularity.

It's not a matter of micropayments or anything similar to that, it's a matter of the overall unneeded complications added the interface and further confusion for those who use eBay only (which is majority of users).
Additionally, when I looked at eBid last time they had a feature to automatically extend the time of listing when someone is bidding close to the end which makes sniping not really useful.
