Hi

I placed my first snipe bid earlier.

The auction ended £50 higher than my Snipe Bid, however, when I looked for my bid in the "bidding history", it was not there. How do I know it worked?

Also, does the Snipe application need to be running ie do i need to be logged into Snipe application for my bid to be placed? The application seems to just close on my PC after a few minutes of not using it, and I have to reload it, is this normal?

I have placed another snipe bid for an auction ending tomorrow (in 24 hours), and don't want to miss out on this one. I have placed my snipe bid, how does it work, will it do it all automatically now?

Thanks on advance for response.

You did not specify the item number so I could only guess that you did not meet some eBay's or seller's requirements for your bid to be accepted.
You can always check "My Status" field for more information or provide the item number if you want me to check it.

You don't need to be logged in and keep it running after your snipe is setup. If the application seems to be closed, I guess you either closed it or some other software did it for you. The sniper should stay running unless you shut it down.

I can't say without the item number. If you've done everything correctly and meet all requirements, you are fine.
