It looks like my snipe was never placed on item# 300435981924. The auction ended with 0 bids. Either myibay didn't work or the seller ended the listing early. I'm not sure which.

You are right, it appears that the seller ended this listing earlier.

The actual ending time is 08:19:33 PDT.
The original ending time is 16:55:06 PDT.

You may want to contact the seller. Sometimes seller is still willing to sell the item.

Hello,
Something similar happened to me today with item #160445300235; I initially thought myibay might have failed (which never happened to me before), but how can you determine if the seller ended the auction early? Where do you see the "original ending time"?
Thanks in advance for your help!

renarde,
If a bid was placed, but seller cancelled it, then you can see the listed was ended earlier in the history.
If no bids were placed, there is no way to find out.
eBay used to put a sign for it, but they removed it for some reasons.

However, I checked your item in question and it appears you have a different situation. Your item did not end earlier, but eBay took unexpectedly longer time to respond.
This is really weird because I don't see any peak load on eBay right now so I could only guess that there was a glitch on eBay's side so it took too long to respond.

Anyway, I see this listing ended with no bids so you can try to contact the seller to offer to buy this item at the starting price.

Hi, my 6-second snipe for item 0663267176 was for 112.99 but the item sold for 77.52 without my snipe ever showing. I noticed when I placed the snipe that the item as it appeared on my ibay page failed to show the current bid. Was there some kind of disconnect, or did I make a mistake?

rusted11,
Did you mean item number 250663267176? If so, you set your snipe too late.
Please check this FAQ section for more information about the requirements:
