we realize that it might be harder to customize the desktop version, and that we know that ebay doesn't always allow you to scrape the individual shipping price...

but we're asking to be able to edit that field, if it's not pre-populated.

i know that the web-based users asked for this function already, but i wanted to make the same request here, as a proud, happy paid desktop subscriber!

I don't think the Web version will have such customization because it will clutter the interface too much. Or at least it will need a some good redesign for it.
The Windows application will have it for sure. There is no ETA yet, but it's in ToDo list of coming features.
