If you check "My Status" field, you will see the following:
"Your bid was too low".

The final price for this auction was 5.50, but your snipe was 2.10 which is lower than 5.50.

When you snipe, you always have to put your absolute maximum. That will be used as your upper limit when bidding. If someone bid higher, you will loose.
