Sniping Ebay country site | Mon Apr 04, 2011 01:47 PM | | |

I bid on an item with myibay firefox sniper and won. My default site is the ebay UK site. When the item didn't arrive and I wanted to open a case with ebay, I got a notification that the item was bought through US site.
I am suspicious that this is because I used sniper, because otherwise I can't understand why I bought this through the US site.
Can anyone confirm my suspicions?
Thanks

If you bid through the sniper, then the sniper place a bid for you.
If you login to your sniper's account, and click Profile, you will see this setting listed as "My Snipe Target".
Your current setting is set to "Auto" (it uses ebay.com), but you can change it to eBay UK or eBay Australia.

"My eBay Country" is for your browser only. This is when you click on the link in your "Buy" list.
"My Snipe Target" is where your actual bid will be placed.
