[eBay.co.uk] "No eBay search results in your browser" Fri Aug 12, 2011 08:50 PM Quote

I'm using the Firefox addon as it allows me to add similar items in bulk. Was working fine until a few days ago. Now I no longer see the "Snipe It" tab in the search results, however I DO see the option when viewing an item for sale. If I go:
Code: Select All
Tools > Snipe it with myibay.com
...I get "No eBay search results in your browser".

This is the same for all searches on eBay.co.uk. Have just tried same searches on the .com site and all is working fine...

Seems like eBay changed their layout for UK.
Thanks for reporting about it.

Meanwhile, you can do the following workaround:
1. Login to the sniper using another tab (you can close it after you logged in).
2. Click Tools - Snipe it on your search page.
3. Use it as you usually do.

Having the same problem, I've tried ebay.ie and 'snipe these' is there but you have to convert prices from Euros. Will help for now.

The updated version is still under review on Mozilla website.
But if you want to use it now, you can get it from the list of all versions here:

guy_smets,
That has nothing to do with Firefox add-on version.
There was a slight change on eBay page so I made a change to reflect that. Please try again and let me know how it worked.
No need to re-install add-on.

same error with FF5 and myibidder 1.2.1, on ebay.de and ebay.com

It does not happen all the time, but it does happen on certain auctions always. It's not even possible to add this item on https://www.myibidder.com/main via id and bid.

This is not related to the add-on's update.
eBay had some layout change recently so sniper needed a change to reflect that.
Everything is back to normal now.
Thanks for reporting it.
