I set a snipe, it was not entered as the auction had 0 bids at close. I just started using, but did a test which worked a few days ago.
Is 8 seconds just too tight for dial=up?
Also, in the upper right corner of snipe setting box there is an 'set to block cookies' must this be altered someway?

If you check the "My Status" field, you will see the following reason:
"Refused login (password problem?)"

It seems like you changed your eBay password recently, but never loged in with it to the sniper. So the sniper has your old password.
You should always login with your current password into the sniper to keep it in sync.
