Email when a bid was done - what does this mean in detail?

I have never received an email from the system when I setup my bid with the Android app.
Or do I only get a mail, when it was placed at ebay in the last seconds?
You get email when the snipe was fired only after auction ended. There is no email notification for every your snipe change, that will be a lot of emails in your inbox
You have to make sure you set your email address in the Profile using Web-based interface (Android app does not support it yet).
