Is the iPad Verizon coming soon or a work in progress?

Are you referring to the iPad for Verizon itself or Myibidder app for iPad?
I think Apple release iPad for Verizon some time ago. The Myibidder app for iOS is available at AppStore as well.

In the AppStore, why is the app only listed as compatible with the iPhone and not compatible with the iPad?
(iPad 2)

I don't see that it's not compatible.
What I see is:
"Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.Requires iOS 4.0 or later."

It's compatible with iPad, but in iPhone mode (that's where you click "x2" to get the app on the full screen).

Also, the universal app which will have a different UI for iPad is in progress. So once the update is out, you will get it automatically from AppStore as well.

Thanks for your fast reply. I do have another app that works that way. (x2 mode)
To clarify -
I'm sure you know that in AppStore search results for eBay sniper, there are filters to separate (1) Apps that are compatible with with iPad, (2) Apps that are compatible with iPhone, and (3) Apps that are compatible with both. Myibidder does appear under filter iPhone only, but it doesn't appear under Filter iPad only, and it doesn't have the + symbol next to it indicating compatibility with both iPad and iPhone. I assume that is because of the lack of a universal version, or the need for x2 mode. I will try it and hopefully the universal version will be released soon..

I see what you mean now.
That filter is not a compatibility filter. This is like "The app is specifically designed for iPad utilizing iPad's features" kind of filter.
All iPhone apps can run on iPad (with exception on some rare things like GPS requirements when your iPad is WiFi only).
So you can safely install it on your iPad.

P.S.: I use 3 different iPhones and 2 different iPads when testing the app before releasing to make sure 100% compatibility.
