I'm having the same problem, cut and paste item number from ebay and it says it's not valid. started when i downloaded the new version of myibay. item #360473942170

If I close Myibay and reopen then the cut and paste works.

Seems like the software is loosing the connection due to inactivity.
You don't really need to constantly keep the application open. You can start it when you need to add new snipes only, and close it when you are done.
