I cant understand how this happened, maybe a forum member can help me out.. I used myibidder and it placed my bid 5 seconds before the auction ended on ebay..

uptil an hour before it ended and from the begining it said 1 bid, 99cents, you must bid minimum of 1,04cents..

I added 1,06cents as my maximum bid in myibidder..

then after it had ended I noticed that the same person that bid the 99cents also bidded 5 dollars on same day at same time, but this had been hidden, if i had known about this I would have bidded more..

I think you answered your own question. The other bidder placed a higher bid ($5) before you, so you lost.
If the other bid is much higher than the current bid, you can't see its maximum. That's how eBay works.

You said "if i had known about this I would have bidded more".
Why don't you put your absolute maximum when setting up the snipe? You can't know others maximum amounts.

If you are willing to pay up to $10, then why you limit the sniper to bid up to $1.06 only?
You should always put your absolute maximum. Does not matter what current bid you see.

I couldnt see the $5 bid so i presumed there were no more bids, even uptil the last 1hr..

but why would the same bidder bid 99cents and $5 the same day at the same time..

If i had bid $10 as my max.. would i have had to pay the $10 even thought the guy that won it bid $5.50 to win it..

The bidder placed one bid for $5 only. You are checking the wrong link which contains automatic bids, and I think those automatic bids are confusing:

If you snipe $10.00 while the the previous bidder had $5.50, then you will win it at $6.00.
If you snipe $1.06, that means you want the sniper not to win when bidding goes higher. That's why it's important to set your absolute maximum, not just one increment over the current price.
As a matter of fact, you should not rely on the current bid at all. It does not matter what others are bidding, you want to win at YOUR own price without overpaying.

You have to realize that people will come out of nowhere to bid at the end sometimes, so you have to be prepared. You thought that you could just bid what they are asking you to bid and that would help you win? No someone could have bid $1.10 or $2.00 and outbid you within 3 seconds. You always go way over to lock it in. Now if $1.04 was all you were willing to spend then you lose. You do know that even if you had bid $20.00 and you went over the $5 bid they had, you only need to pay maybe $6...but if bids stopped at $1.04 then you would win the item for $1.04 and not have to pay $20.00!
