The last couple of days I notice that I am adding things to my watch list but they are not showing up in my bidder. They are showing up in ebays watch list.
Also screwy things.. like I sold an item.. and it wont GO to the ENDED column, it stays in the ACTIVE column and though the buyer has paid, and it shows as paid on ebay, it shows as MARK AS PAID in my bidder. I press that and it says it cant do that right now * chuckles*

Many times for a month now, if I leave myibidder up when I close my browser, then later when I start it up it repeatedly crashes. I have found through trial and error that if I close ibidder first and then close the browser this doesnt happen.
This is an intermittent problem that coincides with EBAY UPGRADES. I know this because when it happens when I have problems with other things on ebay, like pages hanging.

Their upgrades have been a nightmare since june.. and still continue.

*I KNOW THIS IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM - IT IS EBAY UPGRADES I was wondering if you had any insight as to when all this 'upgrades" will be done, and I thought you may want to know what problems its causing for your software.

Your message is a little bit confusing, so I hope I'll answer properly.

When you mark the item as paid, this is done on eBay only and it has nothing to do with the sniper.
Please contact eBay for the help regarding that.

If your browser crashes, the sniper has nothing to do with it as well.
You may need to reinstall the browser or check if you have some add-ons which are conflicting inside of your browser and may cause the crash.
It is also possible the issue is outside of your browser with some system files in your OS. Try the same browser on another PC to compare.
As another alternative, you may try another browser (for example, Google Chrome).

TRUST ME this is all ebay upgrades.
I have done trial and error troubleshooting repeatedly, my browser, different browsers, I know my computer like the back of my hand.
EBay has been doing upgrades since April.. thousands of customers are complaining.
their page formats change back and forth almost daily to and from the new format.
Buttons (options) that you click, have disappeared.
Bought items show up as if you paid twice as much as you actually did.(in ebay but not in paypal)
Thousands complaining that their sales are way down for months ( and these are high volume sellers)
Listings disappearing and reappearing.
Listings relisted that were already sold.
the list goes on and on and on...
Currently on the ebay message board which voices the MAIN complaint for this topic there are over 1600 posts to this thread.Initially it was started under the title EBAY SERVER PROBLEMS.

I tried to request a invoice from a seller I bought from.
The REQUEST INVOICE button to click on, was gone.
I searched all over figuring they just moved it, I checked every page twice.
I finally called ebay and said where the heck is it?
The tech support said they couldnt find it either!
They said they would forward the inquiry to technical problems.
They then suggested I PHONE THE SELLER to get the invoice.

Im not imagining things. Im not a newbie. Im not alone in my complaints either.

I only told you this so that you would know what was causing it if y ou got more complaints.

It seems to me that they have done a massive upgrade right across the board, it failed miserably and now theyre trying to piece it back together. WHY they dont go to a master back up, I have no idea. They did announce this and said they would be done by July 1. It started in April It is now September.
I cant imagine upgrading/updating such a massive system but apparently they did it with NO SAFETY net.

Did not see such complains so far. I guess those complains are landed on eBay mostly, and not here.
I'm sorry to hear all those troubles you are experiencing.

I guess this affects some specific accounts only. I have two accounts on eBay and none of them have anything close to what you described.
The only thing I see on eBay is a new search, which I don't really like. Other than that, everything else functions properly for me. I do sells (I'm Power Seller) and buys on eBay.

I hope those changes will be resolved quickly. That's really sux when things don't work as they used to be.

you know I dont think its just certain customers.
Im in Canada, most of the complaints are from USA. Some from UK are surfacing now.

Its just a huge variety of problems. Initially people blamed it on ebay managing its own servers but I know enough about computers to know this isnt just servers.
People complain that t heir sales have plummeted since April ( when they started the upgrades)
Many are complaining that after building a business on ebay for years, they literally cant pay the house bills this month.
You should really check out that message board in ebay community tech support. You cant miss it.

You know what its like?
Its like way back when you were a newbie.. and you decided to clean your hard drive, and you deleted some system file you had NO idea was so important and for hours and days you tried to fix the problem, patch the problem, reload windows over windows, but no matter what you did, you would run into problems and freezing screens, and files missing errors.

Unfortunately ebay is playing GOD with people's livelihoods and these are very~ tough times.
It makes it worse that they didnt warn their sellers at all. NO regard for t he customers who MADE THEM.

Anyone going thru this I urge you NOT to update your windows or browser. This is not any one's problem BUT ebay. Things work and then quit and different things quit working and other things START working.
