One feature I would like is for the app to ignore shipping details. I have a UK ebay account, but i'm staying in Australia for a short while. I set MyiBidder to bid on an item in Australia, but the item listing said it would not ship to the UK (which is fine, I don't want it tship to the UK, as I'm staying in Australia. However, MyiBidder refused to place a bid!! Yeah, I know I can go through through the process of changing addresses in ebay to match the country i'm bidding in - but i'd rather your app DIDN'T make a presumption and not place a bid the app DECIDED that shipping was an issue. Lost the bid :(

The app does not make any assumption. That's eBay who refused your bid due to seller's restrictions.
You would get the same error message if you would try to bid manually too.

You have to change your shipping address if you have some listings where seller put such restrictions.
The only way to verify is to place a minimum manual bid first. If your manual bid did not go through, your snipe will not work as well.

Having the same problem.
Bids not working any more
for some bids ther were sellers restrictions related to shipping info.
But I tried the other auctions - when bid works manually the myibidder still doesn't work. It always gives - My Status: Seller has restriction on shipping addresses. But it should work - manual bids working!
And snipe sign doesn't show up any more when shipe-it.
Hope you find a way out.

I tried to put manually small bid - it works.
But bidder still doing nothing. Lost auction again (((

It doesn't place bids when shipping info is ok.
Double-checked with the other auction.
Snipe sign not showing on the page after I press 'snipe-it'. Looks like it gives error again.

Will be removing all bids and try manually ((( its not reliable any more

Please find a solutions for this issue.

Go to http://www.myibidder.com/ and login. You will see a list of your snipes. Each ended snipe will have a status listed under it.

I used to love Snipe-it but switched to snipestreet till you fix the bidding issue.

If you check the My Status field of your snipes, you will see the following reason:
"Seller has restriction on shipping addresses"

It seems like the seller has a restriction to block bidders based on their shipping address.
In the future, when not sure, please place a minimum manual bid first. If your manual bid did not work, your snipe will not work too.
In that case you have to work it out with the seller first to either remove this restriction or add you to the exception list of allowed bidders.
There is no way around it.

there were other items - first I tried to make manual bid
after activated mybidder
but it didn't work
(unfortunately I deleted those items from the list)
