Hello, I made a snipe of £57.77 for item 181403202505 but the item sold for only £14.90.

What went wrong?

There is no need to send your question multiple times. One time is enough to get it handled.

Anyway, here is a copy of the original response just in case if you missed it or deleted it:
Code: Select All
As you probably aware, eBay UK restricts buying knives and related items for UK bidders.
You can find more information about this policy at the following link:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/weapons.html

You have to complete the verification step in order to bid on those items.
The easiest way is to try to place a minimum manual bid on the similar item, so you'll get the screen where you can complete verification.

Please let me know if something is not clear still or if you need more information on that.

Sorry if my post appeared more than once. It wasn't deliberate!

I'm not sure if you mean account verified with myibidder or account verified with ebay... I've bought lots of stuff through this ebay account before and as far as I'm aware my account has been verified with ebay.

That's eBay verification. I also included the link to eBay website where you can find more information. Please check my response.

Yes I checked your link before. Cutlery sets are allowed (and razor blades!):-

Allowed

Dining cutlery sets that include knives used for eating

Letter openers

Razor blades and surgical blades

Tools such as chisels, axes, saws and hoof trimming tools

As I thought, ebay account was definitely confirmed and verified.

In this case, please place a minimum manual bid first.
If your manual bid did not work, your snipe will not work too and you'll have enough time to fix the issue by following instructions provided by eBay.

Myibidder has no way to validate those requirements. It just passed the response from eBay when your bid was refused.
