Hello why did I get an email to download the product when I paid for the disk to be shipped to me?

You get email with registration key automatically.
If it bothers you, please feel free to delete it. It meant no harm.

My question was asked, because I thought the email download was in place of the actual disk I paid for. That's my reason for asking only, and as it is I got the disk today, tried to run it and the system shows the disk is empty. It shows 702 MB Free of 702 MB on this disk. Please advise from here. I am in the process of trying the email to load Myibidder, and will try this disk on another computer in a few days to see if this situation is the same, and get back to you. Thanks again for your response, and no offense taken, just a curious question on my part as I've never used this type of product, and just want to make sure it works as stated that's all.

The download link is always the latest version, while your CD will be outdated quickly.

Anyway, if the CD still does not work on other PC, please contact the supplier using the email as written on the CD. You will need to provide the invoice number as written on the CD as well.
Explain the issue that CD came in blank.
You will get a replacement.
