I have the app on both my PC and my iPhone. Can I run them simultaneously? Should I? Also if there is currently no bid and no bid right at the end of the auction will MyBidder make the first bid for me?

You need the app to add/set your snipes. Not sure why would you want to do it from several devices simultaneously, but you can do it.

The purposes of the sniper is to place a bid on last seconds, does not matter if there are other bids or not.
If other bids are higher than your snipe, then your snipe will be rejected by eBay.
