When I add an item to myBidder the time is not keeping track, it just sits on the same time?

You see the time since your last page load. If you refresh, you will see the time updated for that moment.
This is normal. The time is keeping the track internally in the sniper.

Because yesterday I had a snipe and it did not place the bid, also when I set the snipe the box went red is that normal?

The time has nothing to do with it.
If you don't want to share the item number, please let me know what did you see in the status of your snipe.
