I can get to the web page of myibay. And I cut & pasted my ebay password in both the web page AND the desktop app. But the app won't connect it sasy either password is incorrect or connection error. I can connect all the time and I have 20 tabs open in my browser including myibay. Any idea why. I did link my ebay account which the web page shows and I had to approve it also.

If you were able to link your eBay account, that means you were able to login to the sniper.
Please make sure you always use the same exact sniper's username/password as you used in the past when linked your eBay account.

Don't forget your sniper's password may be different from your eBay password, so you can't really interchange it unless you specifically set them to be the same (does not seem to be the case here).
