What could be the problem?

Here is the full message from eBay on the first item:

Unfortunately, this item isn't available for purchase in your location

It seems like there is a restriction based on your shipping address.
If you would try to bid directly on eBay, you would get the same block.

Next time, when not sure, please place a minimum bid directly on eBay. If your manual bid failed, your snipe will not work too.
You have to work it out with the seller to make sure you are allowed to bid.
