Yesterday I watched on ebay as my snipe never appeared at the appropriate time. I don't know if I would have won, but my snipe was higher than the price that did win.
Conformation email for that bid attempt said:
"Hello,
The following bid attempt was placed per your request:
Item #311046497507: CANON 533G HANDLE GRIP FLASH UNIT W/ CANON ONE-TOUCH BRACKET FITS A-1 AE-1 F-1
Final price: 26.00
Snipe: 27.01
Status from eBay:
Refused login (password problem?)"
Mybidder standalone software was also opened at the time and it said I had logged in OK.
The process worked fine on the snipe before that and worked twice on snipes after. Was that just an ebay glitch or a glitch on the mybidder server, and is there anyway to make sure it doesn't happen again?

As you see in the status of your snipe, your login was refused by eBay.
That usually means one of the following:
1. You changed your eBay password, but did not relogin into the sniper using your updated login information to keep it in sync
2. Your eBay password is too weak or easy to guess
3. There was a short outage on eBay side when your login was refused
If did not change your password recently (after May of 2013), then you should do it as per eBay's requirements.
If you changed it, then it may be #3. Please try to access your Watch List. If your Watch List is accessible, that means it was a short temporary outage and your future snipes should work fine.
Please let me know if any questions or you need more information.
