Well, it might not make sense for beta testing, but it would make a lot of sense to users who are frustrated and could then keep using the app, even though it is "just" beta (better than nothing!!!).

The Beta is expected to be Live at some point, but the usage should be limited due to possible issues and other unexpected behaviour.
I don't want such app sitting somewhere online while the current version is way ahead.

I succeeded to install the Beta (0.13.01) now and it is starting up and running without any problems so far on my Android 5.1.1 (CyanogenMod).

I think the "tricky part" (I am a newbie) was to first sign up to the developer forum with G+ and then opening the link to the Beta above on Android (before I did that on the PC and it didn't work). In the section "Get the testing version" I opened the link "download it on Google Play" by forcing to open it in the Google Play app (long-press on the link). And for the record: I had uninstalled the previous version (0.12.9) before so it was not an upgrade.

Please provide some feedback on the Beta version. It's waiting to be released, but I need some feedback.
Especially on "Import from Watch List" feature which was re-done there.

Well... i signed up, but i still cannot seem to find out how to install that famous "BETA" version.
Same problem here with a Oneplus One on the latest Cyanogen (not rooted), very annoying !!
Apparently it's a good kept secret... that beta version.

Any help ??

What version of the app you are using?

kaybatousai (who started the thread) did not have this problem when installed Beta. So yours is not the same in this case.

I have v.0.12.9, when i uninstall it (completely) and i click the link, it says that it is installed... i cannot see any beta version...

I think i found it... In Google play i couldn't find the G+ link, so i used the one you provided in the replies (had to look realy good !!).

The Beta version has nothing to do with a specific version of Android. It's compatible with Android 1.6 and up.

Well the Version 0.12.9 will not start with Android 5.1.1 and not with 6.x (aproved for my friend and myself).
As far i could see her the beta should at least Start from 5.1.1 and above.

As I mentioned earlier, the Beta supports Android 1.6 and up.
Please install the Beta version.

The older version 0.12.9 does not start due to your custom settings in your Android, not because it's 5.1. It works fine on generic Android 5.1 without any custom packages/settings.
