There was an issue with the server today and few snipes did not fire.
I'm very sorry for the problems it cause..

The problem was fixed and it all back to normal.

It would be nice to have e-mail notifications for every snipe with its status.

What's the difference between Web and Windows versions of myibay?
I understand how Web version works, but how Windows version works? Are these two separate programs or they depend on each other?

I've tried to snipe two articles from Ebay and no bid has been placed from myibay, I was watching the articles from ebay at the moment of the bid so I was wondering if maybe I had to log out from ebay in order to let myibay do the connection and place the bid.

I cannot logon to ebay through the standalone program. I get message: Password or Connection Error. But I can logon to ebay properly through a webpage using my user and password.

I have myibay.exe allowed through my firewall.

the "Sell Price" search is a very interesting feature. You might improve it by allowing search worldwide (not only ebay.US).
You may restrict the area trough a list with all the ebay sites and a comboBox and multiselect (or N checkboxes).

It will be interesting to focus on the searching period (last month, last 3 month...)

I have a problem with europeans ebay bids (ebay.fr f.e) : my bid should have won but instead i get the following answer :

"The following bid was placed per your request:
eBay XXX_snip_XXX
Amount: 240.00
Status:
Can not bid (3): Enter EUR 238.00 or more

AFAIK, 240eur is > 238 ;) - btw the step was 1 eur and delay set to 8 seconds.

Is there a currency (USD/EUR) problem with the web site version ?

Having put in a country of Canada, clicking on an ebay item number takes me to the ebay.com page, not the ebay.ca page.

As a result, the currency conversions are lost. i.e. we must bid in USD but pay in CND, so ebay shows us what the equivalent CND is to the USD amount displayed.

Don't go to ebay.com, go to ebay.ca.

To reproduce: go to ebay, pick some item ... change your url from ebay.com to ebay.ca - you'll see the currency translation I'm talking about.

These translation numbers are vitally important.

Being unable to expand the item description field (the table line won't allow itself to expand the right edge of the window by creating horizontal scroll bars). Narrowing the window creates scroll bars. This is good. So I expand the field widths to my choosing. I re-expand the right edge of the window, the fields re-size themselves, and the scroll bars are gone.

So I narrow the window again, and leave it more narrow. Fix things up as above. Make the window just a bit wider, and their go the scroll bars and fields widths, again.

Please use a different control. Let there be scroll bars and leave them there. i.e. Have things act as most every other window does.

Click the 'Time Left' column label, to sort by Time Left. Usually it works exactly as it's supposed to.

However, if one item is ended, the sorting is all confused. e.g. The ending item is at the top, but the remaining items are sorted decreasingly. Click the label again and ending goes to the bottom - but the remaining items are still sorted decreasingly.

The seconds counting down in the software client is _very_ distracting.

Please don't display seconds, at least not until a particular item is in the last 10 minutes of its auction (or something). Even then, only that line should display seconds.

A new version 1.0.33 of myibay Windows software was released today!

The major changes are adding four new languages: German, Dutch, Portuguese and French.

1. Log in (click "Online") using your username/password.
2. Add auction number by putting ebay id and clicking "Add new Item Number". This auction will appear in the list.
3. Double-click on your new item and you will see "Details" window appearing.
4. Check "Enable Snipe" checkbox.
5. Enter your bid amount.
6. Click OK
7. You will see your bid in the list under "My bid" column.

Did all the above 4 hours before auction ends, with max. bid $47 with 5sec sniping and lost it. Some other guy won the item with $26 !!!
