Having the same errors, missed winning several auctions.

I wanted to see if my IP address being blocked/banned by Ebay might be an issue, so I logged into my VPN service, then set up a snipe on a Dell laptop with about 8 minutes to go. But I set the seconds amount in the snipe to 300 (5 minutes), as I wanted enough time to retract my bid, as it was a laptop I didn't want.

5 minutes left came and went without my bid, figured it didn't work with such a high seconds setting or got blocked by the verification code thing. But I checked the bidders list shortly after the time left went under 5 minutes and there was my bid - not blocked. Then I quickly retracted it.

This obviously wasn't a real-world sniping scenario, so I'll have to try it again with the VPN on something I really want. I usually set my snipe bid at 5 seconds. I'll report back with the result.

Update: I just sniped a laptop auction with a reserve price, going through my VPN, set my snipe for 5 seconds - it worked, I was the high bidder (but didn't meet the reserve), no verification code error.

Seems to point in the direction of my home IP address (non-VPN) being blocked, perhaps for using Myibidder? Don't want to connect to the VPN every time I snipe an auction (and that may quit working eventually too), so I guess I'll contact Ebay and see what can be done to "free" my home IP address.

Nah, I just put a bid on a random auction and it went through just fine, but sniping still fails.

Sniping with Myibidder has nothing to do with your IP, because the bid is initiated from Myibidder's server.

Hi, the last two bids I have entered via your site have been higher than the winning bid - yet I have not won the items. Please can you tell me what is going on? For the latest item, my max bid was £10.10, but the winning bid was £7.16 - and was sold to someone else. Underneath it says 'ebay requires verification code'. What does this mean?

can anyone recommend another sniping service. I have been let down too many times by this one - thanks in advance.

Gixen. Features are more limited unless you pay for it, but so far it's getting the job done.

I implemented some changes which should mitigate the issue.
It's been running for the last day with good results.

Hi would like to know how long for a patch to this issue? I have been experiencing this issue since the October 9th and also today October 12th. I have some nice items on ebay I would like to purchase and I'm counting on Myibidder to win the auctions for me! I feel the product has let me down. Hope you have fix soon!

Just tried again with a random auction with 4 minutes left and it worked. All I did was log in with another browser like someone else suggested. Not sure if it helped or not.

As others reported, the issue was resolved already. Please try again.

It was working again for a while, but my last snipe, at Oct-16-16 10:31:34 PDT, failed because it required the verification code.

If you don't want to share the item number, I would guess this is account-specific block and not the sniper-specific.

You can wait at least 24-48 hours when eBay automatically remove it.
If you don't want to wait, you can create another eBay account for sniping purposes.
