What does this mean? It doesn't snipe

I placed the snipe a good 5 hours before auction end. I signed out of ibay and ebay and shut down. I have never had this happen before and I set a snipe today and though I did not win, it worked fine.

I have not changed any passwords whatsoever.
Im hoping you can tell me what happened.

In my usage of your site I've encountered two suspect
quirks of which I though you may be able to explain.

One most obvious relates to an auction I've recently won
(320587404277) which in the "My Bid" column appear as
"No" vs. the typical US dollar amount of my maximum bid.
The "My Bid" block appears in green indicating a won
auction, however I'm unclear what the "No" label is trying
to convey.

Also I've loaded your Firefox plugin and do mostly find
the "Snipe it" icon on the right side of the page.
However often it is not present and I have no idea what
causes it to sometimes appear and other times not.

Could you shed some light on the above issues?

according the website and firefox app, my snipe is all set up and waiting. does this require me to stay logged in to ebay or myibay and/or leave firefox open, or is there now a background service on my computer which needs internet access. Or is the myibay website handle it all on its own?

I have decided I don't want to bid on an item that I have sniped. How do I delete (undo) the snipe so that my bid will not take place.

all new to me ...aghhh. made snipe but cannot see in the appropriate place on ebay that the bid was ever made. all looks ok in the myibay control page, used defaults where poss.

Imported my Watching list but which are ordered by time left , but nothing displayed in the Time Left Column - has ebay changed?

my password meets the requirements and i bid highest but the snipe did not work - the snipe HAS worked - WHY did it all of a sudden just not work this time??

I have imprted 50 items but cannot understnad how to gett hme in a group. I created a group but under groups see Photoshop items to win 1 items 0, ungrouped 50 items. I tried on the buy page selecting all the items and my group and add items but that doenst work. The FAQ isn't very helpful in knowing what to click. Must be obvious. Thanks

I'm using myibay with Mac OS X and Firefox. I also have the Ebay toolbar.

There was a time when I had a "my snipes" button on the toolbar, but it has disappeared. This button was a link to all of the items that I was sniping.

I don't know when or how, but it's gone. Any idea why?

I was sniping several products at the same time with the idea that I wanted to stop sniping when I won one item.

The I had a max. bid on all items of 43.02. For the first item, the winning bid was 43.00. How can the winning bid be less then my snipe? I had my snipe setup to trigger when there was 6 seconds left in the auction.

I had a snipe set on an item for $77.99 today. The item sold for $74.34, and I was given the message, "current bid is higher than your snipe". There was a shipping fee of $11.95 on the item, as well, but I have never used that to calculate my bid amount.

The bid increment for $25-$99.99 is $1, so I should have won this auction.

This is the first time I have had this problem with myibay, so it seems very unusual!

Let me run through it and please let me know where -if- i did not envision it correctly.

I open the second account. The username, psw and email address are different. All else remain the same. After the auction, i change the psw.

This seems to be the same (on terms security) as using the original account and changing the psw after the auction? How is the secondary acc. better?

hi i need a sniping tool that can easily change between ebay accounts as i have 5 or 6 accounts I need something that snipes from various accounts can be viewed, changed etc. from the 1 screen. i looked at this sniping tool and thought it would serve my needs but i dont think so. can it be made 2 do so? am i looking at the wrong things.

I found a seller that had a cell phone I wanted. I created a group to buy 1 cell phone. There were 15 identical listings that I created snipes for within the group. Each listing ended about 30 minutes (not seconds) apart. I won the first auction, however, the balance of the bids were not cancelled as they should have been and I ended up with 12 items. I've used groups before without this problem. Did I do something wrong, or did your Group function operate incorrectly?

Hi, my problem is that whenever I need to change something about an already activated snipe from the "snipes" page (in "My snipe"), when I click the "change" button, it makes the change but returns me to the "Buy" list at the first entry page. This is inconvenient if I'm making changes to several auctions on a page other than the first. I would much prefer it stayed on the "My snipe" page as it does when you initially activate a new snipe. Then I can use the "Prev" and "Next" buttons. Thanks for your attention.
