I have 2 user names for buying. In trying to change from this name to another I changed the user name and login info, then tried to "Import from watching list", and no listings were added. Do I need to buy a separate product key for each user name?

Hallo,
in two auctions (320620976116 and 250727469720) I have experienced, that the item was not saled although I had placed a bid at -6 sec.
My Status: Bidding has ended on this item
and in the snipe it window showed: -20292 sec
Can you tell me what has gone wrong?

I set up a few snipes on my mothers machine using one of my ebay ids.
As i was around when one was about to finish i had a quick look and the snipe was not visible in the listing so when i clicked the snipe it icon to log in the snipe was there.
Any idea what could cause this.
I thought when one failed it was because maybe i had logged into the ebay account on my machine but that definitely did not happen the last time.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a snipe listed that will trigger in about an hour and an half. I've not used you program in the past ans this is the first attempt using it.
I can't enter a second snipe, I tried multiple times and the dialog box just goes away and the main page is not up dated.
I have 25 auctions listed on the Bid/watching page.

hello, i searched all over the forum and FAQ and couldnt find this, so i had to start a topic;
this auction (for item #250736354912) had a Buy it Now price of $3.99 and a starting bid of $.99.
i set my snipe for $4.00. then another bidder came along and won the item for the $.99!
my myibay page has a status message that i have never seen before : My Status: "Your bid must be lower than Buy It Now price".
but i've been bidding that way, with dollar amounts higher than the Buy it Now price; such as $20.00 for a $1.00 item, in case there is a bidding war; for as long as i've been using snipe, and have done quite well! isnt that what everyone does?
what do i do now?

Been using it for a couple of months now (mostly ebay.de)
Some feedback:
+ the concept of searching and preparing having a shot at getting a good deal.
+ a way to keep interesting items grouped, manageable without having to flip through the (mostly) slow Ebay online interface.
+ the snipe itself of course, keeps one from overbidding and helps keeping cool
less good / improvements
keeping the watchlist online and in Myibay in sync.
- import from button requires an extra confirmation, I'd prefer a 'sync now' method. With an option to do so every x minutes. (while surfing ebay I add to the watchlist, Myibay could thus be updated accordingly)
- the list keeps growing, a kind of offline 'archive' group would be very handy.
- the lists I set up on Ebay are not in Myibay
'time left' is a disappointment: sorting is not working. Yet, on different computers, the list sorts differently! AFAIK both are using the same date format. This really needs to be fixed as sorting on this is the most practical way of keeping an eye on what's going on online and perhaps intervening/adjusting the snipe.
updating/refreshing is not working as expected. Seems that it stops doing so when the app is not in focus.
Would be nice to have this fixed plus something like an alert (flash, colour change) at a set time left. Pretty much like the Ebay way of 'ending soon' and coloured bid won/lost. The Myibay screen could then be left open and the item/bids list would represent activity online. Instead of having to watch the dreadful Ebay interface. I know, it's not necessary to watch but it's addictive... (remember eMule? 'eMule doesn't like it if you're watching it work')
keeping track of what bid was what would be greatly improved if a picture of the item was kept offline (and shown at mouse over for example) and/or if the item page would be immediatly available (cache) as most descriptions of similar items are.... similar and information needed to set a max price is difficult without quick comparison (pics, description)
the app's window disappears and does not return after it's been minimized (often). On all macs tested. Must force quit and restart (loging, import, refresh and so on. annoying)
All in all, pretty good. But quite beta. When's the next version coming?
An link with the Firefox plugin would be a logical thing to have as well.

Imagine that you could group thirty items together, enter one price to snipe it at (including shipping costs!), and be done. What would normally take you up to half an hour could be done in seconds.
Currently, when creating a new group or editing an existing one, you have three fields: "Name", "Items to Win", and "Notes". Oftentimes (though not always), we use groups when bidding on identical items. In such cases it would be more expedient if users had a fourth field available to use if they so chose: "My Snipe (Shipped Cost)". This would allow you to enter in one snipe value for the whole group.
This snipe value would include your shipping costs, which is very helpful as very few sellers will have the same costs for shipping. All myibay has to do is take your "My Snipe (Shipped Cost)" snipe value, subtract the shipping cost, and then myibay bids the remainder.
Example:
I am watching three auctions for the same item. I only want to win one, but I don't want to pay more than $22.00 for the item including shipping costs. So I create a new group, set the Items to Win to 1, and set My Snipe (Shipped Cost) to $22.00.
The first auction has a shipping cost of $2.95.
The second one has a shipping cost of $4.95.
The third auction has a shipping cost of $3.75.
Since I put in $22.00 in the "My Snipe (Shipped Cost" field, myibay will bid $19.05 on the first item, since $22.00 - $2.95 S&H = $19.05. If I don't win that auction, myibay will then bid $17.05 on the second auction since $22.00 - $4.95 S&H = $17.05. Subsequently, if I don't win the second auction, myibay will then bid $18.25 on the third auction, since $22.00 - $3.75 S&H = $18.25.
I know that you're wary of implementing features that will appear more complicated to users, and I think that this perfect in that regard. Instead of making things more complicated or labor-intensive for the end user, it makes things simpler and faster.
You don't have to go through and put in three (or thirty!) different snipe values manually, and you don't have to do three (or thirty) calculations to figure out what your snipe should be so that shipping costs don't make you pay more for one than the other. In making the groups feature a much more powerful tool while simultaneously increasing the efficiency and ease of the process, I think that this feature could be a real breath of fresh air for the end user, and inspire them to use the groups feature more often.
What are your thoughts?

I had been posting the feedback about the latest 0.9.3 in a thread
that was about 0.9.2 so I thought I should start a 0.9.3 thread.
It has fixed the crashing at launch issue for Leopard (10.5) users
that I reported and is working well.
Only one issue I know of so far and Sashka is already aware of it.

Hi,
please is there any chance to snipe item A,B and C (auctions closing at three different following times ),from the same seller in a Row?
I explain: I wish to snipe B and C ONLY if I win A.This could be useful in same cases to save shipping costs.

Hi. I have put 40 as maximum and the previous bid by other bidder was 19. I have read the FAQ - https://www.myibay.com/login/faq/4/#q7
It says i will pay only one increment more than previous one but i ended up with winning for 40. I feel like an asshole right now. Am i missing anything else?

Hi,
I get a small screen when I use the firefox myibay addon. I am not able to re-size it. The maximize button does not work either. I can scroll both vertically and horizontally so I can still use it but it is some what of a pain.
How can I maximize the screen?
