In the windows version you add a snipe icon to any ebay search results list item when looking at the individual listing so that while reading the listing you can add the item to your "snipe list" directly from the listing screen. Is this same snipe icon available in the android version, or will it be? If so, is there some option I need to set to turn it on? Thanks.

I've been using Myibay/Myibidder for two years and have never had this occur, even with bid times as low as 2 or 3 seconds. Could someone shed some light on this?

Edited to add: The program was minimized to the system tray at the time of the auction's end. Hopefully this isn't related, but I felt it was worth mentioning just in case.

I tried to use sniper today,but
it will not let me sign in. My info is correct, I even changed my password. I can sign into eBay, but not sniper. Help

This is the first time I use myibidder addon. My question is I have active a snipper by myibidder addon of firefox, so do I need to let my computer available or not? Can I off my computer and myibidder will snip automatically by its server?

I got to myibay via a link that said I could use it to snipe another auction site: AquaBid.
Is that true? If so, how do I do that?

Changed PW on Ebay and tried mybidder but would not accept new password. Accepted old pw at first but now says invalid. Correct pw has no error message. Ebay name is same as this. Is there a delay interval I need to wait after I change Ebay PW?

Just bought the iOS app and I'm sure I'm missing something: When I search for an item and find it, I see a "place bid" button. But these bids seems to go directly into eBay--not into the snipe system. I WAS able to setup a new snipe, but I did it by copying the item number and typing it (pasting didn't work) into "Add Item Number." But I cannot believe this is the planned workflow. Once I have found an item in search, how can I directly create a snipe?

Please tell me that the servers temporarily crashed and the 228 auctions I spent hours setting up snipes for will re-appear. My 228 "ACTIVATED" snipes suddenly disappeared!! I closed the app. I re-booted my phone. Nothing!

Am I missing something here?

I purchased the app last night.

In the past I could go to an item on e-bay and create a snipe from there. I have lost that ability. Now I have to copy the item number log in to this site and paste the item number in. It was so much more convenient the other way. What am I missing here or is this the way it is now. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. Mike

Enjoy the app so far and have one many more auctions that I would never have won before. With that, I have a couple of questions with the interface.

1. Why does the value in the My Bid column say 'no' at times? My snipe amount is higher then the current bid. Will the app still bid on my behalf when 'no' shows?

2. After an auction ends the interface will show 'My Status' next to the won or lost auction in the interface. Sometimes the 'My Status' does not show. Why?

3. Pretty sure my snipe bid was higher then the winning bid on item 400335045640. Why was a bid not made on my behalf.

This actually is in reference to some other problems that I will post elsewhere in the forum. When I tried to email directly( because that would be better for including a bunch of screenshots) it said to reply. I replied and got a robotic fatal error message! OUCH!!!

I wrote a long detailed email with several illustrated pictures that explained the problem and I will post some of it here.

There are multiple issues to report:

1. The "snipe these" tab on the Feebay pages is broken. All it does is (if we have scrolled downwards) jump the page back up. I know this has been previously reported- but not fixed.

2. The sniping window does pop up when I click on the toolbar icon but it has big big problems!
2a. It can't be resized. This means that areas like the address are hopelessly compressed.
2b. It also fails to display 90% of my toolbar items- some of which are critical to making anything work( especially security add-ons.)I know how to control these in other ways- but I am an ultra-advanced user. 99% of people would just say it is broken.

I bid on 2 items on ebay via myibidder: 251175657646 & 180992855835; I seriously collect the second. For each, I clicked on the myibidder icon on the respective ebay item pg, signed in, entered my bid & clicked the appropriate button. My bids were higher so why did I lose? I also checked the bidders after the auction was closed and my bid wasn't even listed. Why wasn't it sent in???

I am trying out Myibay for the first time and I'm not sure what to expect. I have sniped two auctions - which will probably close higher that I am prepared to pay, so no pressure.
I am not seeing my bids. When I sniped in both auctions there appeared to be an incremental bid added. One auction shows all the bidders as hidden because it is a "private auction" - could that response be caused by sniping? The other auction shows no bidder ID that I could recognise as being a shortform of mine, and more to the point, no bidders have the same feedback score as me. In neither auction do I see my full ID as I should as the bidder. As I can't recognize my own bids, I can't see whether I am currently the leading bidder. On one item my snipe bid should place me in the lead - the other has already passed my maximum.
My status page shows both items with my snipe value, but long outdated bids. By selecting each item and clicking "refresh" the current bids updated, but I would have expected this to be done automatically every time the status page was updated.
According to my EBay Bids/Offers page I am not bidding on any items.

Where could i have gone wrong?

There are times I am out of signal on my iPhone. Once the max bid is set do you need cell coverage or does it submit from a server?

Is myibidder still working as a firefox extension?
since eBay has changed it's look there is no myibidder icon anywhere.
Surely i'm not the only one noticing this.
