With the eBay change to the item page layout myibidder is unable to find the current price, snipe or display snipping info on the item page.

How often 'myibidder' system (web-interface) updating a current bid info?
My situation: start bid was 199$, now it is 230$ but in web-interface amount is still 199$ (from yesterday). I want to set a snipe, but I want to ask - snipe will be increased from 230$ or from 199$ (as system thinks)?

Similar situation with my other items in 'buy' list

Not a newbie using the product or GROUP but I won two of the same when I only setted up to win just one. Auction one ended Jan-22-13 19:55:57 PST & auction two Jan 22, 2013 19:55:33 PST. Too close for your servers too disable the 2nd snipe I supposed. Live n learn y'all.

I've been using bidder for awhile.

I have just got a new computer and opened the program but it will not show the sniper in my eBay like it did on old system.

It came up on a link and when you looked at a item you could click and snipe, it would show the bid on listing page.
Can you tell me how to get this back if possible?

Hi, I set a snipe for an item with a starting price of £5, maximum snipe of £6.76 & 6 seconds.

The auction ended with no bids and the snipe didn't work.

Is it possible to find out what went wrong? I was viewing the item on ebay whilst the auction was running. Would that have caused the snipe not to work?

I just opened up ebay to place a snipe on an item and no matter what I bring up in ebay the snipe icon has vbanished. Help!

My wife is having some problems using MyIbay because of the tendency for it to open more than one instance at a time.

I have just checked her system tray, she had 12 different MyIbay instances running, and it seems to confuse your server when she places a bid.

I have unticked the "minimise to system tray" box in Options, I hope that is all that is required?

We are also still getting the error message when MyIbay closes too - something about checking the log file? Is there a fix for this?

We are using WIn 7 ultimate 64bit.

Its a while since I used it last time. This time, my snipe was lower than the final highes bid. Anyway, I would have expected to get a e-Mail from eBay, saying, that my bid was not winning (I got these back in those times I used bid-o-matic, that I stopped using since I discovered byibidder)

Well, this time, it was about item 181070554867, my ID is urs_photograph

Anyway, I have another snipe running right now, and I want to make sure it will really do the bid. So that's why I ask you the question. The status says:
My Status: Current bid is higher than your snipe

Anyway, I think it refers to the previous snipe I lost.

How can I see the status for the current snipe, to be sure, everything is OK?

how do you add items to the list? i've tried putting a 'watch' on an item, and also a bid, but even i do a refresh form server, the item doesn't appear.

After I started using the web interface quite a bit, I started noticing on various bids that it doesn't snipe to the next highest bid, rather it sometimes jumps straight to the max bid!

e.g. http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=261163348659&showauto=true

The next highest bid after 1.20 was 1.40, and your sniper bid to my max at £3!

I thought your FAQ's say it should be next highest??

I've noticed this on other snipes too, but sometimes it also works correctly.

However, I found Myibidder recently, and I read various topics on the forum in which you talked about the changes Ebay is doing on the layout, and the disappearances of Myibidder buttons.

Now, the question is simple and is the title:

Although Ebay is making these changes, myibidder otherwise makes what he should do, right?

I'm using the Chrome plugin, and that's what I see in my account there:



It's all right? The red colour what means?

There could be problems for the fact that I'm in Italy, while the auction is in England?

I don't know how it works with synchronization, does everything Myibidder?

The log file does not exist.

I already placed a bid on ebay using automatic bidding, but now added a snipe-bid with my absolute maximum (same account name). Does this conflict? Any need to cancel the ebay-bid?

P.S.: the app is great. I won few items today!

I am using Groups for the first time.

I entered about 30 items into 1 group, entered 2 items max to win. At first, it did help me those 2 auctions. However, after winning those 2 one of the sellers was a flaker and I had to add a 3rd auction to win. And so I changed the max number of items to win from 2, to 3.

After a few days, I noticed that I wasn't winning any more auctions and so I went to check the results of completed auctions that had been added to this group. What I observed :
- All active items, under the column 'My Bid' it showed 'No'.
- For each active item I had to re-open each item, and add to the group again in order to 're-activate' them. Following that, each item under the column 'My Bid' did display my required snipe amount
- For ended items, whether won or not, it also showed 'No' under the column 'My Bid'
- For ended items that I did not win, even though bid increment rules were satisfied, it did not place those bids for me. It also did not show under 'My Status' bar underneath each auction the reason why the particular auction was not won.

What should I do ? How should I handle a similar situation in future if I have to revise the max number of items needed to be won ?

I have two laptops running.20/02/2013. Login with same username on both. The layouts on each, My.E/bay is different on both. Have tried changing formats etc, still different. Haver googled, e/bay trying new layouts. WHY FIX IT, IF ITS NOT BROKEN. On search item, cannot change between auction & buy now !!!

In the main screen I see the item listed, but there's nothing shown under my bid (or group).

I'm not sure whether this means that the program is not planning to place my bid, or whether it's how the program works. I've never used it before, and I'm on the free trial.

Any help would be very welcome. I don't want to lose the item, but I'd rather snipe than drive up the bidding now.
