Hi, I sniped something yesterday with the default 6 second snipe. My ibidder panel shows that I won the item, but there is nothing in eBay to show that I did and when I go to the item it shows that it did not sell and has been relisted at the original, same, lower-than-my-snipe price.

I can understand my bid not going through for some reason, but why would ibidder show that I won when I didn't?

The item is reported as unavailablethrough ibidder... But in ipad app... The itemis surely there and can be bid on.

I want to only look at ebay.de in the sniping tool ... Too bad that this isnt working well w ebay.de... I dont even want to look at auctions from the usa or france... Should be able to go to ebay.de

I have used this software in the past and it worked very well. I was always incredibly pleased but now after months I used it again. I set my snipe on an auction at least 24 hours in advance and I got a message from ebay on my phone that the auction was ending. I was happy until I noticed it did not place any bid!

There were no bids at all on the auction (200900325302) The starting bid was 15.00, so my winning bid would have been 15.50. I had set up Myibidder to 24.00 as a max for safety so it should have just registered a bid right? What went wrong? I am so disappointed right now and afraid it's going to do this again in the future.

Sometimes I also set the snipe in my browser on ebay.com using Myibidder. Can this cause confusion of some sort?

What am I doing wrong?

I already tried out the free Android app on my phone and enjoyed it (even was considering buying it's pro version), so I figured I'd go download and try the iPad app on my new iPad Mini to see if I liked it as much.

To my disappointment, it seems there is no free version, only an almost-$10 version you have to pay for before you even get to try it out... Can someone give me an explanation for the vast differences between the Android version(s) and iPad version? Even the Android Pro version is $2 cheaper...

Just got a new Nokia 920 Windows phone. Love the phone and the OS, but I really miss my bidder from my old android phone. Will we be getting a Windows Phone version any time soon?? Sorry if this was asked before; I could not find it.

I put the snip for the max amont and when the bidding starting I lost my item. Max was $3.00 the item closed at $2.41 and eh I lost. My max would have covered it. Advise please.

I'm considering trying this out, but I just wanted to get a little info first to see if sniping will actually help in a certain situation.

So, I was bidding on an item that claimed to have no reserve, the bid was at $300 with the next minimum being $305. I placed the $305 bid with 13 hours left on the auction, but set a max auto-bid of $351.01. I stayed on top with $305 and watched like a hawk as the clock dwindled down to zero, and it appeared that nobody out bid me. Then, on the email I received from eBay, it told me I lost the auction by to someone who not only outbid my $305, but my $351.01, and the final winning bid was $356.01. Now, I suspect that the winning bidder is actually the seller, because within as soon as I lost an identical item was posted with an aution end date exactly 3 day after I lost this one. Exactly as in within the minute, and maybe even the same second. Could this be acheived by the seller just placing a higher auto-bid than men, or would that have been a visible back-and-forth increasing $5 every time? I figured I would have seen being outbid if this was the case. Or is it that the seller had a snipe set-up that was just higher than my max bid?

In these situations, is it possible to win an auction if my max snipe is lower than someone else's eBay maximum bid, strictly based on timing it correctly, and the auto-bid not having time to outbid me?

And the same question for snipes. If there are multiple snipes set on the same product, do the fire ant slightly different times, where a lower one has a chance of winning because of timing, or does it just let the auction end and analyze who was highest, and they always win?

I mostly just want to know if a seller has a snipe set on a different account set up as an invisible reserve price, do I even have a chance if my snipe is below that hidden reserve amount?

Hopefully someone will be able to clarify this. I want to go after the reposted one, but I want to win it for what I want to pay for it, and not think that I have won, only to have both my bid and then my $50 higher max bid be out bid all within the same mere fractions of the last second.

HI, i ve never used that soft and i have one question: What if someone in the last second put a high price to the article im buying and automatically myebay increase the price. I will have to pay that no?.

For example: Article is now 250 and my bid is in 256. But someone put 2000 and soft put 2005 in the last second. This is quite dangerous no?

Since I started adding snipes with Myibidder, my eBay Sidebar will still show my active watch list, but no longer connects to ebay via rover.ebay when I click the item thumbnail or the links.

Is this a conflict with Myibidder screwing up Ebay Sidebar?

Is there any differences between free version and 8,99€ version? I'm now using Myibidder free version and it offers 20 free snipes. I like this apps and wondering to have more snipes. Thank you for any advices.

on ebay.de the item display now never comes to an end, probably looking for the sniper button.

As soon as I change .de to .com, the button script is downloaded and the .com version is shown.

I bought this myibidder in December 2012 ago and it has always worked well. Just today I tried to start it and it said the application stopped working (although it appeared to never even start). My ebay user name is staterevenuestamps Version is 1.1.4.551 This program does not need to be running to place bids so I assume the bids are held on your website. Thanks for any help in getting this resolved.

Hi, I've only been using myibay for a day or so. I love the groups and the ability to snipe while I sleep ;) I've run into a situation where I can see the need for a dollar amount limit for a group rather than an item limit.

I'm shopping for designer men's ties right now. I have 7 different ties all of which I would pay $35 each for. Their current bids are between $4 and $15. My budget is only $70. Sorry, it sounds like a word problem ;) So I have my snipe amounts set to $35 and my limit set to 2 items. But, if I win the first auction for $12 I will want at least 3 items in the group. I'd much rather get all 7 ties for around $70 than 2 of them for $30.

I won an auction tonight where the previous bid was 25.60. My maximum was set at 36.01. My winning bid went in at 35.00 instead of 26.10, which means I am now paying 8.90 more than I would have had I entered the bid myself!! Any help or advice would be appreciated. Very unhappy.

I have been using the iPhone app for a while now. Had no issue shelling out the money to pay for a great product. My issue is that I am limited to only 20 snipes at a time. It brings up a screen to purchase 20 more but you cant even purchase more if you were willing to pay more money. I am not willing to pay more money than I already have and am very disappointed that I was never told there was a limit to the amount of snipes at a time. I am not using the free version - there should not be a limit.

Sashka-I bought the disc-ran it worked fine. Thought I plugged in the key, now it doesn't work, I try to log in but I get a blank screen with no options. I assume my 30 days ran out.

It sure would be nice if I could set up the Android app so that the Active Items list showed more info. For instance, I have a mixture of items with a snipe set, items I'm just watching and some on which I have entered an actual bid. Color coding the different "active" items would be one way of differentiating them. It would also be handy to show the id of the current high bidder, at least on the imported bidded on items. That way I wouldn't have to remember exactly what I bid on each item. Maybe even have the item green if the high bidder is me and red if not.

Item details are not updated when using arrow keys for browsing the items (UP / DOWN). Clicking rows with mouse works properly and e.g. Enable snipe + my bid updates ok.
