If I buy the full version of MyiBidder for my PC, will I also have to buy the full app version for my iPhone? How does that work? Considering the PC version is $12.95 and the app is $11.99, surely you only have to buy one.

Current bid is $10.00, my snipe at $30.00. What will happen?
This is very important question - that's why I've created this new topic.
Here are the two opinions:

1. FAQ (https://www.myibidder.com/login/faq/4/#q7) explains that myibidder will bid the lowest available amount (one eBay bid increment more than the person before you). So if the current bid is $10.00 myibidder will bid $10.50.
In my opinion this is the good behavior.

2. In the thread http://www.myibidder.com/forums/viewtopic/5229/snipe-malfunction/ Sashka mentioned that myibidder will always bid exactly the amount I set. This means that myibidder will bid $30.00. Three times more! And this is how myibidder really works now.
In my opinion this is the weird behavior.

The question is - what is the right behavior? How myibidder should work?

Will sniper work correctly?

I am a new user and was able to successfully fetch my bid and watch lists the other day. However, my watch list has changed since then.

I went to import/update the watch list, and it has been showing the time elapsing circle/ring with the "Fetching list..." message for over half an hour. The two screen options are gray (<Myibidder at the top and the reload loop at the bottom).

How do I get ibidder to stop trying? Going back to the applications route, and OPENing the app gets the same Fetching list screen, as does going to home and reopening the app.

I am starting to use this on my Android phone. Does it need to be switched on to snipe, or is it your computer that does that? I switch my phone off at night to save charge.

What did I do wrong...set it 20 minutes before end.

I am currently an Android Pro user, and considering being an iOS app user as well. There is quite a bit of differences between these versions and I would like to find out why.

Android (Free):
Snipes: Unlimited.
Limitations: Not Groups, No Current Bid.

Android Pro ($9):
Snipes: Unlimited.
Limitations None.

iOS PPS ($0.99):
Snipes: 20, then charges.

iOS (Unlimited) ($13):
Snipes: Unlimited


I bought the Android Pro version and use the Web version and created quite a few snipes, if I buy the iOS ($0.99) version, how would this work, would all my Snipes now start getting charged? Or would I only be charged for entering them on the iOS? Could I view the current snipes that are setup?

I saw an item that I wanted to bid on for less money than the listed minimum.

MyIbay said it was a BIN Only, so the bid was not made.

How do I tell when an item in ebay is BIN only.

I use a Galaxy S 2 to do my sniping and your app has been a wonder! I have one problem though. I do not have a way to delete a group when I am done with it. I can't even rename it. Instead of creating more groups, I am just using the groups I have with the incorrect names. I wish I had a way to edit this from my phone.

...Then, I had an idea. I signed up for the computer Myibidder and there it was! I delete the old group names. I created a generic new group name. I signed out. I took a deep breath and went to my phone... WHOOPIE!!!

Still, if you would or could, make a way to edit group names on androids, it would make this marvelous little app an even better one. I plan on donating again, if I can! Thanks!

I imported my whole watch list, but I don't want to bid on everything. How do I delete items from it? Even deleting them from my ebay watch list didn't work! HELP.

Login
1. Login using your username and password. If you don't have an account, you need to create one: https://www.myibidder.com/login/signup
2. Link your eBay account to your sniper's account using https://www.myibidder.com/main/ebay

If you know your item number:
1. Open the app and login using your username and password, if not logged in yet.
2. On the "Main Menu" screen tap "Add Item Number" under "Add Items" section, and enter the item number. Then click "Add" to confirm.
3. You will see "My Snipe" screen.
4. Put your absolute maximum amount to snipe in "Maximum Bid" and tap "Activate" to make sure it's "On".
5. Tap "Save" to save your changes.

If you have the item added to your Watching List on eBay:
1. Open the app and login using your username and password, if not logged in yet.
2. On the "Main Menu" tap "Import Watching List", it will take a few moments to get your Watching List from eBay. Tap the "Refresh" if you have any recent changes to get the latest.
3. You will get a list of your active items in your Watching List.
4. Tap the item you want to import into the sniper. You'll see ">" on the right side confirming the item is imported.
5. Tap the item again to get to "My Snipe" screen.
6. Put your absolute maximum amount to snipe in "Maximum Bid" and click "Activate snipe" to make sure it's "On".
7. Click "Save" to save your changes.

Whats up with this? I won but didn't win?

I just missed an auction because your system decided not to place my bid because the seller (in the USA) doesn't post to the UK. I operate from both the USA and UK and wanted this item shipped to my USA address. I had no idea that your software would fail to bid because it knew (crystal ball obviously) where I wanted the item shipped.

This was a rare but vital piece of electronics that has now sold for substantially less than my bid, to a seller with 3 ebay transactions on record. I hope this is a genuine buyer (we all had to start some time) but it's not promising. Why was there no ALERT when I set up the snipe to tell me your system would not bid. The sellers shipping exclusions have been set all along.

I would have bid manually had I known your system was inclined to play god.

Hugely unimpressed, and very annoyed to have missed such a rare item that I would have easily won had your system either placed the bid, or told me it wasn't going to. Surely accepting the bid is tantamount to a contract to bid on my behalf, assuming I'm still in the auction at the time specified?

What is the least amount of seconds you can set my ibidder to snipe? I know that the older versions would snipe to 3 seconds! Has this changed?

I have been using Myibidder for many years and have found it to be an exceptional solution to the eBay experience. I never bid any other way. However, recently my internet connection was down and I was concerned that I could not find a way of adding an item to my Myibidder snipe list. I could connect to the internet with my phone, but there is no web based application I could log on to set my snipes.

My next option was to download an app for my Android phone. But it appears that I am unable to use my existing account for the Android app and that I must purchase a new subscription to be able to use Myibidder on the phone.

Is that ridiculous situation correct?

Will I then have difficulty registering my eBsy details on two separate Myibidder accounts?

Is there any plan to provide a web access to my Myibidder account so that I can log on from any address and setup a snipe?

I used myibidder on a old computer last week and logged in with ebay username and password and was able to snipe. Now I am on a new computer and downloaded the myibidder add-on from firefox and it will not take my ebay username and password. I am logged into my ebay account and I have not changed the password. I uninstalled from firefox and reinstalled but it still doesn't take my login. Any suggestions? I removed ghostery, donottrackme, betterprivacy but it didn't make any difference.

I was wondering if entering a snipe at less than 2 minutes left to bid on an item will not activate the myibidder snipe function? I ask because I placed two snipes just now and would have won both auctions as they were higher than the ending bid, but I placed one at 1:30 seconds left to bid and the window closed accepting my snipe but then nothing happened and it did not even record my bid - it was like it didn't even bid at all. No record of my ebay id in the bidding. Any ideas?

Every time I try to import watch or bidding list it tells me "no active items". The only way I can get them is to add item I'd and it comes right up. I use this app all the time and never had a problem up until about a week ago. I tried logging in and out and still does the same. Any way to fix the issue?

viewing my watch list, I can see my
snipe value. Currently I put it in
a note, but it is a bit of a pain.
