Just had a problem logging in,the cure is use your e-bay user name, and not your email to sign in (as I do on the laptop) then your current password, it worked for me

Recently i changed my login on ebay and reinstalled mybidder, now i can't register it with the old key.

recently i formatted computer.re downloaded bid sniper now i get a 30 days free trial.last time when i formatted computer i only had to put in my ebay user name ect.and it was registered.this time around i only have a trial period.and i dont have a key ect..how do i fix this?

I've just loaded "Sniper It" from Mozilla (22.0). I can see the symbol ("Sniper these"), but the sniper itself doesn't work: "No eBay search result in your browser".

Just bought the iPhone app and set up my first snipe on an item on ebay I'm bidding on. As my max bid was already placed on eBay, I'm now worried my snipe will bid against myself! Anyone know what happens? Thanks :-/

myibidder software running on win7 did not bid the last time. I looked at the ebay password it used and it seemed to be more characters than it should be. Using the setting option, I tried to change the password to the correct password and after I clicked Apply > OK and checked, the longer password is still there. How can I change the password that myibidder uses?

I am using the latest version for Mac OS. Accord to your FAQ, after selecting an item, I should "click "Snipe" on the toolbar"

There is no "Snipe" on my toolbar or anyplace else that I can see.

I can see a Snipe box but it says always "Snipe not activated". I can click the Snipe button, fill in an amount and it still says "Spike not activated".

How can I activate it?

Just to be sure you understand my problem. I have lost several bids due to Ebay not acknowledging my bid by the sniper. I have the current version and a valid license. Since your operation is relatively new in it's current form I need an explanation as to the benefits of paying more money toward the software for which I legally have and use. I used to win every time now I get blocked every time.
The following is Ebay's excuse: The following bid attempt was placed per your request:
Refused login (password problem?)
What gives??? I need an answer. I lost a bid for a tower tthat cost over a thousand dollars (I had 3,000.00 standby but wasn't given the chance to use it.) It's like I'm being blocked on purpose. What's up!!

I am interested in getting the iPhone app for this but I have a couple questions.

Does the app access my watch list? And also, I bid on a lot of the same/similar items...will that be a problem? If i have the iphone app does that give me access to the desktop app as well?Thanks

Today Myibidder missed bidding on an item I had sniped & I lost the auction. The message was 'refused login (password problem?)
I have not changed my eBay password or ID and both the latter still work normally on my laptop for signing in to my eBay account & to Myibidder
The item no. was 261266062272. There was 1 other bid for $7.99. My maximum bid was $15.56. Snipe set at 3 seconds.
So I should have won this snipe.
Please advise me what the solution is to this problem.

I just purchased the full Windows version and updated the key after timing out on the 30 day trial period. version is 1.1.4

I wanted to test that the snipe would actually occur so I put in an extended time for the bid time, 14400 seconds for an auction ending in a little over 4 hours.

Nothing happens when the appropriate time is hit. Also, putting a large seconds value into the Bid Time seems to cause this error to be created in the logs --

C:\Program Files\Myibidder\myibay.exe\threading.py:533: RuntimeWarning: tp_compare didn't return -1 or -2 for exception

On further testing this error might be unrelated...

See the screenshot for an example of the snipe dialogue.

So two things - what is the max Bid Time value? And if large times won't work, can we have a feature to 'Bid Now' in order to test sniping / response time, etc. This can be useful to come up with a good estimate of how much time to allow for an effective snipe based on the connection speed, etc.

Thank you for creating an excellent website.

I am having a difficulty today. I am not able to log into the Myibidder web portal as of yesterday. I am aware that eBay had some login problems yesterday, but it's unclear to me if this is related.

When I enter my userid and password, I get the message "Wrong UserID or Password".

I tried several times (carefully, of course) and get the same error message. I am absolutely sure I'm using the correct user id and password. I also know that my eBay user id is not locked. I made several attempts by just typing the user id and password and by also typing in the same user id and password into eBay to make sure it's all correct and the account is not locked.

In addition to my several regular login attempt, I lastly tied the following...
* typed my userid and password into a Notepad document
* copied my userid from the document to the Myibidder login userid field carefully
* copied my password from the document to the Myibidder password field carefully
* I receive the "Wrong UserID or Password" message from Myibidder
* navigate to eBay
* copied my userid and password from the same Notepad document to the eBay userid field carefully
* copied my userid and password from the document to the eBay password field carefully
* successfully log into eBay
* I repeated this experiment last night (8/23) and this morning (8/24) - same results

I believe this to be an accurate indication of a problem with Myibidder specifically because...
* by copying the userid and password fields I am making absolutely sure there are no typos
* by using Notepad, I am ensuring there are no special formatting characters copied to the clipboard. [Notepad is a simple plain text editor that comes installed as a Windows accessory.]
* by logging into eBay last, I am confirming that the account is not locked due to repeated login failures

Is anyone else able to log into Myibidder through the web portal or is this problem affecting all users?

Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?

For reference, I am using Firefox 22.0 on Windows 7 Home Premium.

I set everything up to bid on eBay item 190888485872 and my bid(s) were never placed. I'm running the 30-day trial version. Does myibay actually bid during the trial period?

hello i use myibidder and love it never a problem,,told my dad about it and we couldnt get it to log us in,,,i noticed i had to use one of those PAYPAL RSA keys to log into his Ebay account,,is this random keycode that must be entered is what is preventing him from logging in?

i tried everything and the only thing i can figure out is that darn paypal keycode he uses to get into his ebay

I just want to start by saying thank you myibidder! Since my discovery of your software many years ago, my won auctions count has gone through the roof! I now win about 80% more auctions! The only problem I have is that I recently Ditched my old hard drive for an upgrade but in the process I lost my full version and I am now having to use the trial version until I run outta time on that. I would greatly appreciate it if you could send me a new code to unlock this new version.
Lastly, In my process of upgrading my life, I have purchased a new Blackberry Z10. Could you make compatible app for the Blackberry community? Seeing how Blackberries are primarily business phones we don't always have time to monitor our ebay bids and myibidder definitely helps.

Trying this application as well as some of the others.

A major fault with this is that International shipping typically does not show accurately. It typically only shows domestic shipping, but not always. So this is confusing and can't be relied upon. I bid on an item that showed $10 shipping in this app, but it turned out to be $60 for International shipping!!! (The item was only worth $20)

For example, another app, Joybidder, gets the International shipping correct every time depending on the country you nominate as your home country, so I'm not sure why this application can't do the same.

This app has the advantage of bidding when your computer is off, this is a major advantage.

The other advantage of Joybidder is that you can click an item and the bottom half of the screen will show basic details and an image of the item.

Would be nice to have both these items fixed/added

When I am using the iBidder website for snipes, does eBay see the IP Address in which i logged in? or do they see your IP address from the site? same with cookies?

I run multiple accounts and would like them to not be linked to each other...I use this website alot so I wanted to know how easily tracked the user is by ebay. thanks!

It seems not working when seller doesn't ship to my country. Seller says that he can ship it to me if I win, but bidder didn't make a bid. Could I do something to avoid that situation happen again?
