i need to ask some advice, to make sure my first ever snipe goes through with no problems. you see, i'm bidding on air tickets, and would really like to win them ;)

i've left all the default settings except for "snipe target" which i've changed to canada, as that's where the seller is located. is that a smart thing to do, seeing as how this feature is described as "experimental"?

other than that, i was wondering if the default currency you input into the web application is us dollars? because what i have on my paypal are rubles right now. would i have to convert the currency, or does myibay detect which currency is set on my profile? i actually don't even know if that's what it's set as right now, will have to check in the settings.

the auction ends in 5 hours, any help would be really appreciated! also, my ebay nik is " gearshift " if that helps, and i've put a snipe on the auction i'm bidding on in the web interface

Yesterday I watched on ebay as my snipe never appeared at the appropriate time. I don't know if I would have won, but my snipe was higher than the price that did win.

Conformation email for that bid attempt said:

"Hello,

Mybidder standalone software was also opened at the time and it said I had logged in OK.

The process worked fine on the snipe before that and worked twice on snipes after. Was that just an ebay glitch or a glitch on the mybidder server, and is there anyway to make sure it doesn't happen again?

I have just lost an auction - the Snipe Status reports:
Refused login (password problems?)

This is not the first time that this has happened.

Investigating my various passwords, I notice that my eBay password has 12 characters (a mix of upper & lower case letters and numbers). My password as filled in automatically at the top of this myibay forums page has 10 characters. The myibidder Settings panel shows 14 characters. I assume the mibay and myibidder are the same thing? I have not changed my eBay password recently.

Please could you tell me why my myibay password is different from my myibidder password, and why they are both different from my eBay password?

What steps can you take to correct this situation?

I was able to login to myibidder.com web-based account fine from Chrome for a while and then from yesterday it would not let me in.

When I type the username and password, the page just refreshes, I'm able to login to eBay.co.uk fine with no problems. Also I'm able to login to the web-based site myibidder.com fine from Safari with no issues.

I have tried clearing the cookies and history from the browser to try and rectify the problem but I have had no luck.

Please advise.

I just lost an ebay bid and the reason given on the sniper is "REFUSED ACCESS (PASSWORD PROBLEM)"

I have not recently changed my password and many snipes over the last few days have been accepted without issue. This item sold for less than the value of my snipe.

Why was my bid not made on the snipe I had set up? The item # was ;

I've had the app (paid version) for a few days now. It worked perfectly up until last night. All of my snipes are lost due to it saying that ebay requires a verification code. I can place bids manually with no problem but the snipe app isn't working at all.

Any advice? I looked through my email, nothing regarding a verification code was found. I'm not buying more than usual or anything.

Hiya just wondering if anyone can assist.

Looks like the group I used won 2 items instead of 1 as selected. Not sure what went wrong as I have used this numerous times in the past without any mistakes.

I changed my Ebay password a couple of months ago and have trouble with mybidder ever since. I have entered the Ebay password in the Profile but have also changed the mybidder password to be identical. I still get the error refused login, latest auction is 151390870122.

What am I doing wrong??

Re item No. 301287121386 I placed a snipe via the MyIbidder portal. The item sold for half of my bid and when I checked, the password was refused. Have I done something wrong?

When trying to open, I get a message that it stopped working. The details show "APPCRASH" with a fault module name: "StackHash_40c1

I installed it and re-installed it, but the same thing.

I'm not sure what is going on, but I just received a e-mail from eaby stating I didn't win an auction that I never placed a bid. In fact, I wasn't even watching the item.
I'm going to contact ebay about this.

I checked and I can't log in with my old password, so I know I used the right password. I'm not sure what's going on.

Android ROM MIUI 4.8.1 - Myibidder starts to open crashes and MIUI gives option to report.

SELLER HAD SECOND EXACT SAME ITEM ENDING A MINUTE LATER, SO TRIED TO BID ON FULL EBAY SITE FOR THAT ONE,BUT EBAY WOULDNT ACCEPT MY BID. IT WAS MORE THAN THE CURRENT BID, AND NO ITEM HADNT ENDED. When I snipe items for eBay it is not always working and messes up every few items. The time is off also every so often. It has never been like this before, not my log in either. Something is wrong latley and the time is off for eBay and snipe not always working. Again, it has never been like this. Need maintainance or please fix / correct the problem. Have to use another bidder as a back up due to this. Hope you can get the maintainance up to snuff? Please correct this soon I trust?

I notice that the last couple of days, the final winning bid prices are not correct on my sniping list. Now I do understand that only update the current bid price once in while. But now it's not updating current/winning price even after the bidding has ended. This has let to that Myibidder.com is telling me that I won couple of these auctions, when in fact I had been outsnipe by another buyers. This is not related the login issue over the labor day weekend. Because that had stop on Tuesday, but this new issue came up on Tuesday. Anyway, 90% of my bidding list shows the current price from when I first setup my snipes. Again it never update that price even after the auction has ended.

One or two weeks ago read on this forum about refused login problem. It supposed to be resolved. Few minutes ago lost snipe again. I came to conclusion that this service became very unreliable. You can't be sure when snipe will work. I trusted this service again that everything will work. Yet im here very disappointed and angry......
