I am leaving mybidder and finding an alternative software.
I have been let down twice once last month,and today June 21,my snipe 8 UK pounds,winning bid 7 UK pounds

when I enter my ebay password in the settings menu and hit save and then close the settings menu; when i open it right away it shows way more characters than what I just entered.If I delete this password and leave it blank and save it when I re-open settings it now shows nothing. How do I make it save the correct ebay login information? I've lost two items today. Any clues as to what the error might be?

I'm interested in an auction with a reserve price and buy it now and want to see how my snipe would work. For example:

Starting bid is $2.
Seller's Reserve Price is $7. (Unknown to bidders)
Buy it now price is $10.

Please let me know if my understanding is correct:

If I bid $2, the Buy it Now option will disappear.

If I set my snipe at $6, I will not win the auction because it is below reserve price.

If I set my snipe at $9 and there are no other bidders, I will win at $7. * Will my snipe just bid the minimum amount to meet the reserve price and win the auction? *

If I set my snipe higher than $7 and there are other bidders, whichever bidder with the highest snipe price will win.

If I set my snipe at $9 and there are no other bidders but there is one buyer who uses Buy It Now at $10 before the auction ends, the Buy It Now buyer will win.

New user here. Dwnld'd Snipe App and got it all s/u to best of my knowledge with ID and Key. Understand that the Snipe Icon is suppose to show up when one looks at an individual eBay listing.

Not finding that to be the case..........
1-Correct expectation?
2-Suggestions what the problem might be? Have restarted computer system since initial dwnld of app.

I sniped 92.78 and it sold for $86.00 to someone else. What should I learn from this? Other snipes have worked and passwords have been updated

Installed in Win 7 Home .. Will not start , loads .but will not start . Problem say's Incompatible Application . Tried to run in windows XP mode , no help .. simply will not accept any mode to start . Deleted and re-installed .. no help .Made sure of proper down;load ... no help .

What is this Private Bidder listing I see when checking bid status? How come they seem to always win and what does one do to earn this privilege status. That has always bugged me and nobody gives me a straight answer regarding it.

I've had a couple of Snipe failures, the last one being eBay item number:251578319545

Any ideas what's wrong?

I have been an myibay user for many years. I have always updated but when I go to myibidder through the desktop icon it's always the old format/version. How can I get the new version? Thank You

This product has worked well for me for for a long time however recently it appeared to stop working as the snipe icon did not appear on the ebay page on items set for snipe

When the auction was over not a single bid & I missed the snipe, has ebay done something to block this application?

I was not sure I had the latest version (1.1.4 build 551) as the web site does not give the build number so I downloaded the latest version from the website and re-installed found it was the same so I rechecked and got the same result, I also checked my firewall & it was still set to allow myibay.exe

Any clues please

HI I have had a problem? I added a snipe for item 221484557347 for $202 the snipe failed "My Status: Refused login (password problem?)" I did update my password before i placed the bid but it still failed?


I have since tried to use the OLD EBay password and MYBIDDER wont connect to EBay and I get"Wrong User Id or Password" so I know it wasn't the problem (I wouldn't be able to add a snipe if the wrong EBay password was being used as your system wouldn't let me add the snipe? please look into this matter as I love your service and have used it from the start.

I just lost on a Samsung Galaxy note, and how I lost is a little suspicious.
On the history for the bids I see the following:

So how in the Hell did W***G manage to get a bid in at the same amount I'm at, but after my bid yet time stamped for before my bid? Maybe it's just my internet paranoia, but this reeks of something funky.

I recently changed my eBay password and now ibidder doesn't work.

Hi, I sniped an item, and final price was $255.31.

That's the final snipe price I allowed, so seems to be OK.

BUT, I am wondering why it did that, since the increment is $5.00 at that price level, so final price should've been $255.00.

Any ideas please?

P.S. I've looked at the bid history, and noticed that previous bid shows $251.06, not a whole dollar number either. Is that the cause of my bid to also go over a whole dollar amount?

My bidder does not work

I use the browser addon for chrome and it looks like all the same features are on the desktop version that are present on the myibidder.com login settings also.

So I was wondering, under what type of scenarios do users use the desktop application rather than using the browser addon?

Win 7 / V6.1 / Service Pack 1

If you click the image I've included you see a message but the log file is not in this location.

Any ideas?

The Firefox add-on is preventing a website to refresh.

The website is www.metro.net/riding/nextrip/

It refreshes for a while and then stops. After disabling the add-on, I have no problem with this page.

I have been using ibidder for a while now and has not let me down... in the past that is... I am so disappointed that I just recently lost two items when I set my bid to higher than the winning bid.

1) Winning Bid was $4.24 when my highest bid was $9.99. There were only 2 bids. Someone bid $4.24 within the two-minute period and during the last 6 seconds, ibidder did not bid on the item at all.

2)Again, there were only 2 bidders. The winning bid was $9.49 and I placed a high bid of $11.99. Again, someone bid in the last minute and thought that there might just be a glitch the first time, I watched the last 6 seconds tick away only to be disappointed once more that ibidder did not automatically bid.

Is there maybe an update that I did not get or does it not work work with Chrome or eBay anymore? Is there maybe a new plugin or setting?
