I've just installed the iOS app on my iPad and have a few questions / comments...

My Snipe Target

In the iOS app settings, only United States is listed, while there are other countries in the settings on the web. How do they interact if another country than the US is selected on the web and US is selected in the app?

My Snipe Time
=============
Any time can be entered on the web, but only predefined ones can be selected in the app... Annoying if I want a time that is not predefined. I've got to go back on the website.

Groups
======
I couldn't find any way to create and manage groups in the app... Annoying to have to go on the website again for this. Or did I miss something?

I have been using Myibidder sucessfully for years so I am well aware of how it works. I recently downloaded the free app & was considering buying the paid version if it worked out well. However, it seems I've run into some issues. Of the 3 snipes I have placed so far, two have had problems. The first was for item 351061117109. I placed a max bid of $2.75, several hours before the auction ended. I kept looking around & a few minutes later found a "Buy it Now" item I liked better. I went back to the app & cancelled the snipe, even deleting it entirely. Then when the auction ended I get a notice the snipe went thru & won. I went back to check - the My Snipe column said <Not Set> & when I logged into the website the activate snipe box was unchecked. I know that if you cancel a snipe within 30 seconds of auction end its still likely to go thru but I canceled well before that. I just ended up paying for the item & at the time figured it was probably a one time occurrence. Now I am not so sure.

The second problem happened today with item 331201417726. I placed a max bid for $0.31 about 45 minutes before auction end. The snipe didn't go thru so no bid was placed & no one won the auction. I checked "My status" in both the app & myibidder website but its blank for both. Every snipe I've placed on the website that didn't go thru always gave the reason in my status. I read other posts on reasons why bids wouldn't be placed. I checked to see if that seller accepted a manual bid for a different similar auction (331204013156) & it went thru. I also placed a snipe on that auction with the app, it is currently in "Active Items." My PayPal account is linked to my eBay account, my address & credit card are verified with PayPal and have not been changed recently. The credit card doesn't expire until 2016. I am using the same device, a tablet, for the app and to check/make snipes on the website. I have not used any another device to access myibidder or ebay in at least 3 months, maybe longer. The activate snipe box is checked, set for 6 seconds and I did save the snipe when I put the bid amount in. I was very careful to do so because of what happened with the deleted snipe reappearing. I wanted to make sure there was no chance of user error this time. The activate snipe box was checked & saved. I even went back in immediately to double check & resave it. Then I checked to make sure the bid was listed under "Active Items" and the amount showed up as "My Bid". Then I left it alone for the next 40 minutes or so until the auction was over. When I noticed no bid was placed I rechecked everything. The amount I bid ($0.31) is higher than the starting bid ($0.01) & no one else bid. The item didn't have a reserve (I saw others win similiarly set up auctions from the same seller for a $0.01 bid) and wasn't likely to need a verification step. Neither does my ebay account, since I have not made any changes to my account in months. All the info, including the password I entered to login to the app, is all the same as a week ago when the snipe I deleted went thru. I checked the auction to see if the seller ended it early, but it says "Bidding has ended on this item", the same message that appears on items that time has run out on but not won. I checked to see if there was a shipping restriction to Texas/US but the seller is located in & ships to the US. I have looked at everything I can possibly think of to try to explain why the bid didn't go thru. The snipe just shows up as being completed in the app, neither won or lost and no explanation in my status. Was there a delay on your end or is it an issue with the app?

I've never had any problems like this in the years I have placed snipes on the myibidder website, these problems seem to be only with snipes placed thru the free app. I want to upgrade the app to Pro because it would be much more convenient but I am hesitant to do that if it doesn't work correctly or there is extra lag time between the app & eBay.

I had three of the same items approximately 1 minute apart, they were all in one group with the same ceiling snipe price. I left it and in the morning it hadn't bid on any of the items. The items were won at prices lower than the snipe I had set so it seems like it didn't work. Although I might add that all three items were won by the same person and the prices didn't really go up in the last 12 hours of the auction, so maybe it has to do with ebay, that buyer/that seller. All the items were sold by the same person and bought by the same person, so maybe they communicated and made a different deal.

I currently have several active bids in a group and noticed that in the "My Bid" column, some of them are red and some yellow. All of my max bids are higher than the current bid. I haven't placed any manual bids. Does red mean that my max bid isn't higher than the other bidder's max bid and yellow mean I have the highest max bid so far? Does myibidder know what the other bidder's current max bid is? I notice it turns green if you win the item. I was just curious what it meant, it would help bidding a lot if this is the case.

I am finding mybidder increasingly unreliable - and have just found it so again! Is anyone else? Is there anything more reliable?

I have been using this sniper for 2 years, it was doing so well, except that there were three falure on me in a row a few days ago,

(item# 291150189168, Ended:May 25, 2014).
(item# 121345636275, Ended:May 26, 2014).

My bid (eg. item# 301188067278) was like $76, but winning bid was $9.99 (1 bid). Ebay didn't receive my bids.

I could not import my watch list so I logged out of the app and signed back in, but it still can't import my watch list.

It has been a few months since I last used the service, but I really do love it. I was going to snipe an item the other day and I clicked on the browser add-on like I have done for years.

On my laptop, in chromium I get a very generic "webpage is not available. Error 2 (net::ERR_FAILED): Unknown error." page displaying.

On my desktop computer, in firefox I am given a more specific message saying "Secure Connection Failed. Unable to generate public/private key pair. (Error code: sec_error_keygen_fail)" on the page.

The same errors show up if I simply try to visit myibidder.com directly. It attempts to switch over to https and then blows up.

When I tried out my phone, https://www.myibidder.com loads right up in the mobile browser. For fun, I pulled out konqueror on the laptop, and it loads up fine on there too. My wife tried it on firefox on her computer and it loaded fine.

What happened that my regular browsers on two different computers (which have the add-on tools for ease of use) no longer load the web site? How can I make them work again?

My phone app stopped working. I logged out and back in. I can't import anything.

When I try to add all, (50 items displayed), from any search in category; Everything Else>Adult Only>DVDs & Movies>DVD on ebay.com, the myibidder window opens with "No eBay search results in your browser." Same if individual item is open. Also, if I try to add an item using the item ID on https://www.myibidder.com/main, nothing gets added and the information disappears. Try item 131205659342. Thanks

App does not start...

I'm on android 4.4.2 and I get this massage 3 sec after I star the app:

"Unfortunately, myibidder action sniper for ebay has stopped"

Would it be possible to add the group feature to Apple iOS app?

Hi! I downloaded the free Myibidder because I was overbid a few times by sniper software that placed bids 3-5 milliseconds before the auctions' end times.

Are other sniper prgs able to react to my max Myibidder price placed 5 seconds before the auction's end and outbid me by placing bids 3 milliseconds before auction's end? It seems that all sniper max bids have to be set a few minutes in advance.

What is the best "bid time sec" to set (5 seconds due to network delays or can it be 1 second?)? Is the following a correct understanding?

I set Myibidder max bid at $30, bid time sec at 5 seconds. My only competitor sets his sniper max bid at $25, bid time sec at 3 seconds. I will win because my bid is higher.

The only time that the bid time sec matters is if we set the same myibidder max bid and he set bid time sec at 4 seconds and I set my bid time sec at 5 seconds. Very likely situation.

Will these work together fine or have interference issues?

If I'm away from home and change the max bid price on my iPhone app, will everything work fine in placing my new max bid on the auction?

There is an auction that I really want and I'm using Myibidder for the first time so I want to cover my bases.

If I do a manual "Place Max Bid" of $10 on eBay and I'm the current highest bidder at $8 for example. But my iPhone and PC Myibidder has my max bid at $15. Assuming I only need to bid $10 to win against other bidders, would Myibidder snipe at $11 to outbid my own manual ebay max bid of $10?

Or, is it better to not to confuse Myibidder and NOT set manual "place max bid" or just use the same amount for both manual place max bid and myibidder max bid? Thank you.

I paid for the iPhone app, do I have to pay after my balance of 10 snipes are used up? Then, I have to pay for a bundle of 3-500 snipes?

What happens when the 30 day free evaluation period for my home PC is up? Do I have to pay for a bundle of 3-500 snipes?

Will the bundle I pay for on my iPhone show up on the PC version? I'd appreciate your explanation of how the iPhone, web, and PC versions work together. Are they all sync'ed? Thank you.
