I'm considering putting a link to your site at the end of the descriptions on my eBay items for sale in order make potential buyers aware of sniping in the hope it would generate more income for me, and was wondering if you also thought it a good idea? I wanted to use the logo https://www.myibidder.com/images/new2007/page_front_logo.gif in front of the link https://www.myibidder.com/. I tried this on item numer 201781881436 but the image is blocked & I'm not sure whether it's because it's a https image or blocked by eBay, both, or something else. Have you ever considered making a link for sellers to paste at the end of their item descriptions in order to generate a logo link to advertise the site?

In last year ebay block my acount by changing password mostly weekly. Probably due to instant using Myibidder (I make 20-40 bidds daily). Does anybody check if it depends upon used national site for snipering? Which site (available option in settings) is better to use? I fill ebay.de more often block account because of using sniper.

Hello,

When I first installed the PC application it was an earlier version and seem to remember, if not mistaken, an option to import eBay's watch list.

I now have installed a registered updated version.

I'm unable to find any watch list import function, perhaps I'm mistaken and there was never a watch list import function?

When the application is opened it does load my watch list, however upon refresh items recently added to eBay's watch list are not imported.

Hi Sasha,
I was going to buy your software today and then I thought,
"I wonder if he has done anything with the 'seconds' countdown yet?"

Computers on the NYSE go in milliseconds.
I set my Mybidder to '.01' but from what I can tell it doesnt really make a difference.

I was hoping you would offer the seconds countdown in MICROSECONDS in the software version.
Would you please explain how MYBIDDER handles the input of smaller increments of seconds, and if it doesnt, would you be offering this in the software in the future?

Sincerely Susan

I had myibidder set to snipe an auction at 11.37 but it doesn't register that my bid was placed, but shows that I lost the auction. (The winning bid was 7.99);

When I checked the eBay bid history for the auction it did not provide the winning bidders hidden name (a***b) but rather had :
"private listing - bidders' identities protected"

Myibidder did place successful bids for an auctions with a different seller just moments before and after the above auction, so myibidder was working.

Does myibidder not work on private listings?

thanks for any info

Changed my EBay password, and now iBidder wont allow me to log in.

Keep getting "wrong userID/Password", but this is NOT an error on my part.

I am using the same login and password on ibidder as is current on eBay, very accurately, multiple times.

Thought it was over but noooo lost a chance at winning .
I bid it up to 25.50 and it sells for 10.50
Didn't get the chance to win the auction as it never accepted the CORRECT ebay password and was rejected .

Only Allows 10 Snipes to be added Thu Mar 09, 2017 04:30 PM Quote

Hi, I have used the app with much sucess before, winning about 84 auctions in the course of a month. However, I notice there is now a cap of 10 auctions allowed to be set up for sniping. Is this a new rule? If so, I'll have to use a secondary app to bid on all the items I want.

Is anyone else having this issue? There was not a limit of 10 before.

Is there some newer problem about decimal units and "My Snipe Target"?

The German ebay.de does require entry with decimal comma. An entry with decimal dots is refused.

myibay does require decimal entries with decimal dots.

I just observed a bid, reporting:
My Status: Your snipe was too low due to eBay's bid increment system

... at a final value of US $0.26 and a snipe of
US $0.66

The bid amount on ebay.com would have to exceed 0.31 for that amount. On ebay.de these would be usual steps in 1.00 (€).

My Snipe Target ist set to Auto - which should be that bids are done on the US ebay.com, but if not possible on UK ebay.co.uk. This should work with the same decimal dot.

What's the reason why it did fail? Did it try to bid on ebay.de, without changing from decimal dot to decimal comma?

On my iPhone app I bid $65 dollars on Ebay auction 292049743568 for a Cleveland sand wedge. It sold for a steal of a price at $52! I was sitting here watching it and could have easily won the auction by simply doing it like I always have in the past. Needless to say I am NOT IMPRESSED by this app at all. Any ideas for how this could possibly happen? I'm probably done with this but if there is a logical explanation I may consider using it one more time. Thanks.

I just installed Myibidder app on my PC. Since I lost a bid using the app on my iPhone earlier I was thinking the PC might be more reliable. I bid on an item on ebay on my PC then I realized I had already made the same bid on my iPhone. I deleted the bid from my iPhone. I was curious and a little later went back to my phone and saw that the bid was back on my iPhone. Is the app syncing my PC and iPhone? I hope so. That would be awesome ... if I can get the app to actually work for me. Thanks for your replies.

If it matters ... I am using Google Chrome on the PC.

I have never had any issues with MyIbidder and have always enjoyed its great service and reliability. This week I had 2 oddball experiences that resulted in my bid not being placed. The one from today was very disappointing. I had a snipe set to launch 8 seconds prior to auction close and my maximum bid was $1226.89. The item sold for $750.00 and I had a message saying "Your snipe was too low due to eBay's bid increment system" I am curious what happened and what I can do to prevent it from happening again.

Earlier this week I had placed a maximum bid of just over $500 for an item. It sold for $124 and change, and I never received any messages as if the bid never launched.

Before using MyIbidder I used a program (now defunct) called Auction Sentry. Toward the end of their service any bid > 1000 would cause the software to not place the snipe. Curious if eBay, etc has changed anything similar. I had 2 other snipes to launch, one had a max bid of $5.99 and the other was under $500.

Refused sniper attempts Sun Mar 19, 2017 06:46 PM Quote

Dear friend and MyIbidder support
Once again I started experiencing the problems with snipes attempts:

2 different messages:
"ebay requires verification code"
and
"temporary suspension due to ebay captcha"

Sometimes "refused login (password problems?)" also happens.
But the fun part is that- one bid is shown like that in the system and another shows that "you were outbid" or "current bid is higher then your snipe" - NOTE- ON THE SAME SELLER!!
How is that every possible ?

Please let me know - I enjoy the app, but recently these have been too many, and I set out around 20 auction snipes per day.

Regards

Hi,

It looks like ebay is putting up some verification codes on myibidder. any chance that you can introduce a button on each listing (something like bid now), which will try to bid, see that there is a captcha and present the verification back to user - this way if user get this through ibidder they will be able to verify an account and hopefully mark your IP address as valid?

thanks
