I've had a new computer 7 months and had to use dell repair facilities to make a correction. I lost my ability to sign in to my ebay acct. Called ebay spoke to an adviser. As I spoke to the individual, which I thought allowed my ability to sign in to my acct. I got off the phone, tried to get into my acct, my password was no longer locked in. How can I RECOVER my ability to connect. I DID CONNECT, MY NAME WAS ACKNOWLEDGED IN THE EBAY FORMAT, CHECKED IN, TRIED AGAIN, IT WOULDN'T WORK. SAME LOCATION.

it would be nice if I could stay logged-in and being able to edit the bid amount directly in the table row (so the snipe button becomes obsolete).

I am unable to add an item number either manually or by pasting. It keeps saying it is an invalid number. I have tried with different items and the same message comes up for each one.

In trying to download myibay-setup.exe, my virus scanner gives me a download "failed - virus detected" error.

Can you explain why I would see this warning?

I had to change my ebay name but now I can't find all of my items that I'm bidding on in myibidder. Please tell me how to get them back.

When trying to login to my MyiBidder account it won't accept my password for eBay. I've tried numerous times to login in but it just says "Error while trying to login. Wrong eBay user id or password". But since I've logged out and back in again to eBay using this password it would suggest the problem isn't caused by me. Help please?

I'm using Android and also my PC.

If you miss a single digit on the password YOU ARE LOCKED OUT. Even the correct password is rejected. DONT BUY THIS APP. DONT REWARD THEM FOR CRAPPY PROGRAMMING

eBay claimed my account was hacked and forced me to change my password. So I did so and updated it in LastPass. Without realizing that I needed to do something at myibidder.com as well.

Now I don't remember my old password (it was impossible to remember), I can't log in to myibidder.com, and I can't find any place to sign up for a new account or recover my password.

Ebay locked my account just for using Myibidder.

After days of not being able to log in, I had to finally call and answer question from public records to get back on my account. They said there was an unauthorized user who hijacked my account, etc....

They cancelled the transaction and even though I had paid for the item and it was going to be delivered that very day, it was redirected from USPS back to the seller(did not even know they could do that)

I called Ebay and they said it was because my IP was in Florida but they showed I logged in from New York to buy the item.

I used myibidder to buy the item in question.

Why is myibidder not on Ebay's white list on acceptable programs.

Does this mean is some user get banned for life while using myibidder, then every person will be banned for life by virtual of being " linked" to his account by also using myibidder. Is Ebay really that stupid?

Why can myibidder not be on some kind of Ebay white list?

I want to see what I might snipe, so I don't accidentally have more snipes than I have money. How can I view them?

I have changed eBay password so I know it's correct but it still won't log me in ?

I've recently put a bid on an item, however in the My Bid indicator it's showing zero yet when I click on Snipe, it's showing fully with the My Time setting correct also. Will this still bid or shall I just re-enter it?

Edit: sorry, it's late over here. I should have just ticked the activate Snipe, all's well.

For some reason, myibidder is not recognizing my ebay password. It works fine when I login to eBay, not to Snipe. Any ideas?

I can login just fine, but when I try to go to the last page I get kicked back to the login page. Both IE and Chrome.

Hmm. Never saw this one before...

When I logged in today through the web interface (the way I usually do), I wasn't taken to the screen listing all of my snipes. Instead I was taken to a screen with this message...

When I click on the "Click here" link in the message, I am taken to a screen that looks like my profile page, but in the "My eBay account" section says...

. Expiration:

. Unlink eBay: Revoke
(Both "Sign-In" and "Revoke" are HTML links. Both "Ebay Username:" and "Expiration:" are blank.]

And on the same screen, the "Help & Hints" section says...

. account. This is required in order for the sniper to
. place bids on your behalf and access your account's
. information such as your Watch List and Bidding
. activity.

If I ignore it and just click the "Buy" button, I see all my snipes.

Not sure what to do. I think I can just ignore it, but would like some advice to know for sure.

Today I got a strange login procedure where myibidder requested to link to an ebay account and when ebay asked for permission to link with myibidder.

Up to now I always assumed that ebay did not need to know whether I do use an automatic bidder.

I wonder why such a drastic (?) change did not make it into any announcement.

What are the consequences of that change?

Today I set up a snipe but no bid was made. Is there a time limit before which I have to set the snipe up? Or is there another reason?

There were two minutes to go on the item after I had set the snipe up so it was a surprise to find that the bid was not made even though my bid was above the finishing price.

The item number was 3620900. A png of the MyIbidder entry is attached.

I am using Windows 10.

Other bids have worked fine.
