I don't know if this is normal behavior or not. When I create a snipe for an item, I was under the impression that if I refresh the web page after creating the snipe, that the "Curr.Bid" column would refresh and show that actual current bid for each item in the list. When I checked my screen this morning, I noticed that if I clicked on an item to check the current bid, that any items which had new bids made no longer matched the "Curr.Bid" amount on the snipe page.

So, at least for now, it looks like I will have to check each item on the snipe page to make sure that the amount I have set up for my snipe will even be an amount that will be more than the current bid.

If this is working as designed, can the design of the page be changed so that when we refresh the page, that the current bid amount for each item is updated?

I inadvertently used the wrong user id when setting up myibidder ion a new computer. Now I cannot register with my old registration code. Still gives me it is unregistered message. What should I do, can you help?

In addition, I cannot get it to delete the wrong user id when uninstalling and reinstalling the myibidder app.

Please advise as to what can be done to correct the problem. Would like to keep my original user id.

you made a change recently that has some relation to the icon change. on my android 4.4.2 you app will nolonger open. Please offer the old icon working version of your application.

PS it is very frustrating when an old reliable app stops working, givin the choice most folks will take a reliable old version that works to some (from your perspective ) improved version that no longer opens thus does not work.

Please roll back the release revision to the working one and complete development on your time not ours.

Hello! I submitted an issue via the web-form (Issue #: 48414).

I am trying to re-link my eBay account to MyiBidder. When I login to MyiBidder and click the "login button," the eBay login page pops up. I enter in my eBay information, and get this page. https://prntscr.com/q03c9v

I have never had one of these eBay security key fobs that generate six-digit security codes. I cannot get past that page and as a result, cannot re-link my account. I have Googled around and have already determined that putting in random six digit numbers will not work. When I try to manually add MyiBidder via the Applications tab in eBay, the application is not there. When I try to click the "manage applications" option, it doesn't do anything. I am using Google Chrome on my laptop.

I have tried to re-link my eBay account via the android app as well, but it does the same thing.

I am posting this to help other users who may have this issue in the future. Also, you can close out my issue since I solved the issue.

I found the answer - it is turn off eBay's two-step-verification that you have enabled (most likely on your eBay phone app). I figured it out after reading the six-digit security key had to do with two-step-verification (https://tamebay.com/2019/10/users-with-ebay-2-step-verification-defaulted-to-old-paypal-security-key-one-time-codes.html) and then connecting the dots and remembering I enabled two-step-verification on the eBay app.

I've been using this app (on Android) for years now. However, it appears that the app has changed significantly recently.

If one is creating a snipe; it shows the current bid for the item; in dollars and cents.

Before, when one was entering one's snipe amount, one of the "keypad" selections was a "."; so one could enter a *snipe* of dollars and cents.

That "." seems to have disappeared in the latest app update.

Why?

In the new version, I could not find 'bid before... seconds' option. Two questions: 1. what preset time does the app use now to placw my bid? 2. Why that option has been removed from the app? Thanks

Have used Myibidder many times in the past (has worked great btw, Thank you!), but haven't used in a while.
I seem to recall after entering a snipe, the amount of my snipe would show up under the "Current Bid" on the auction page.
I have the MyiBidder icon on the eBay page.
Click it, a pop-up window opens where I enter my username & PW, then I enter the amount of the snipe.
Close that pop-up window and go back top the eBay page.
Refresh the page but do not see the amount of my snipe below the "Current Bid".
Is this normal now or do I have an issue?

I just wanted to know if is needed to give my ebay information(user and password) to use this extension on chrome. I have it installed and it seems to work on ebay, it shows the window and asks me for the amount to bid an all that. But in the faq section it says that you need to link your ebay account. I don't want to give away my ebay info. Is this neccesary?

I just purchased myibidder and received the activation code and instructions for entering it. I may be missing something obvious but when I follow the instructions and login, I see no "help" menu choice as was indicated. Where and how do I enter the activation code?

For a long time I used myibay without any problems. But 4-5 month ago I could not linked the sniper with eBay due to problems in my personal data on eBay. Now the problems are fixed. For that I was forced to change my eBay user ID. Now again I can not linked, because my old eBay ID appears in the sniper.
What should I do now?

I just wanted to confirm whether or not the amount of items to win is still totaled even if I delete the line item. For example, I set my amount of items to win at 38 for a group. After a few days I deleted all of the ended auctions as I set up more bids. Do the two wins I had toward that group still get counted even after I've deleted them, or do I need to lower that threshold to 36 (if it only counts won auctions that still show on the myibidder site).

I am unable to get the chrome extension to work.

I am on a macbook and have had this chrome plugin for a long time.

I tried reinstalling it and still having the same issues. it wont appear on the page.

I don't know if anyone else would find this useful, but I'd like to see the program notify a buyer if the current bid goes higher than his snipe amount. That way, the buyer can reconsider raising his snipe amount if desired.

1. Could you make it possible to manually delete an item watched or pre-sniped list as having both together makes viewing a very long and unwieldy task. It might also be useful to be able to remove just watched list items from the list if like me you enjoy wishful shopping and always have a very very long list lol

2. How about making a multiple item refresh button for active snipes instead of having to go into each snipe individually and do it manually. My mobile version on android did this and it was a godsend ( this would also be useful on the watched list incse prices change)

3. Can you allow a separate watched and sniping list with the option to move a watched item into the sniping list at a later point, very useful and again something I utilised a lot on my free mobile version of Myibidder which I really miss since it became a paid for application

4. Thumbnail item pictures to alleviate all the text which is tiring on the eyes and to allow linking to item on ebay

5.Automatic item removal to another time based list regardless of status in case of loss and the need to check for another of the same. Some of this could be achieved if we could use the database headings of Title, Seller, Curr.Bid, Number Bids, Buy It Now, Qnt, Shipping, Time Left My Bid, My Time, Group to sort items differently depending on individual need. For instance grouping all items by seller would allow you to negotiate lower combined postage or number of bids could tell you if its worth maybe adding a larger bid amount because we can all change our minds about how much we are willing to pay out for an item. Especially if it looks like tyhey are super popular and might sell ot. Of course what you can afford yesterday may not be what you can afford 2 days later, life happens and monies grow lol.


Seems like a lot to ask for but as a disabled user stuck in a room all day this is very useful and much less tiring for me. I sometimes miss out on things because I do not have the strength to reload each item or try and remember how many others where available on my watch list if I lose out.

In the past few days, there have been three failed bids for this reason. I have already asked eBay's customer service and learned that my account has no restrictions. And at the same time I don't have any unpaid orders at all.
After this problem first appeared in the web version, I purchased the Windows version of the client and I hope that there will be no more problems, but it happened again.
