maybe this is a stupid question, but once i have set up a snipe with the firefox add-on, does my computer have to be on in order for the snipe to work at the specified time?

maybe once i set the snipe up, it's done through the website and i don't need to have my pc booted up?

the reason i'm asking is that i'm going to be away on business and i don't want to leave my pc on the entire time.

The "sale price" search is a great tool, but it should included just "sold" items not all closed items.

Currently you are listing all closed listing regardless of any bids or sale status.

it's me again!

I changed the skin from "XP 2007" to "Mac White".
Afterwards I couldn't find the useful delete button "X Ended" at the bottom of the items lists!?

Meanwhile I tested the other skins ("Simple xy") too.
None of the alternative skins contains this button.

Is it possible to add it for all skins?

Unless I'm misunderstanding, I thought the whole point was to swoop in right before the auction ended and place a surprise bid. I just lost an auction that was ended at 6:30 AM PST. I checked the bid status, and my sniped bid was made at 5:51, not anywhere NEAR the closing time. I lost an item that I had really wanted because of this, so I need to make sure it doesn't happen again...is there some setting I missed or something?

Also, in my myibay list of sniping items, I totally do not understand the time column. For instance, the only item I currently have scheduled says 2:20:56, with no date. WHAT time is this? It's not the current time today; it's not the time of that auction's end (8:15 PM). People are obviously using it, I'd like to use it too if someone would clue me in! But mainly, please explain why snipe put in that bid way too early!

I am just wondering, how does this work?
Do I in some settings write what my maxbid should be, and where if so? Could someone please explain how I should put my settings so I know it will be sniped?

I would like to know why the "Cur. Bid" in the standalone software doesn't update automatically upon other user's bidding. It would be nice to see that updated so we can change our snipe without having to go to ebay site to cehck.

It only updates when the auction is over.

Aside from that, I love your software!

Hey, I was wondering.. This thing looks nice and all but what if an item is selling for $0.99 and you put $2 for your sniper, what if someone makes the highest bid at $5 like 2 days before the auction ends but you do not know..

I think you should add the option so you can put your MAXIMUM bid (like proxy bidding) and it will pay the least it can and if it goes over the max, don't bid at all..

For the current bid field, it is not updating..

Does it check for new prices every 2 hours or something?

I have a VERY good idea..

Say you want an Ipod Touch, you search ebay and find 30 of them..

Now if somebody bids on one of them, you would have to manually add a snipe to a different one..

You should add options like "Depend On" and "Fall Back"..




Explaination:
Something kind of like priorities.

If Item1 outbids us, it should ACTIVATE the snipe for Item2, if item2 gets outbid, activate Item3..

to make it short, i have two ebay accounts and i used myibay with the other account. it always worked. now i have a coupon on the other account with zero feedback and want to snipe this items which i love it. i can not just loose it. is there any way i can be sure myibay works on this new account? the current bid is 99 it ends tomorrow and i sniped it up to 300. please help.........

my idea is that if you do an ebay search, and click the button to snipe it (firefox), it adds all the items in that exact page to your buy thing..

hi sashka,i have a strong password but the snipe works about 50% of the time.when it doesnt work my bid always higher than the winning bid doesnt register,resulting in the other guys lower bid winning.any ideas whats going wrong.

hai. why havent you make a software version for pocket pc or mobile version. it will be great since we wont be tied up with computers as standalone. though the web interace will solve the problem as understood, it would be great if we have a standalone version in pocket pc. your software is great and thrumps up for you.
