I am unsure what I am doing I bid 16.00 and the item went for 15.51, on a tolarian academy item: 370182333694 I read that your status could effect this how do I check that, and or was that a factor.

We are looking for Beta testers for upcoming version of myibay application for Mac OS X.

In order to get updated information, download links and share your opinions with other beta testers, please sign up on the forums and respond here with your forum username and your Mac specifications (CPU type and Mac OS X version is enough).
This way you will be added to a private forum group related to beta testing of myibay application for Mac OS X.

P.S.: in order to access that group you have to login to the forums with your registered User id.
Once logged in, you will see a new section in "myibay Support for Stand-alone application".

Since June 16th, 2010 Myibay.app for Mac is public beta. No special registration required.

Ok, finally. Here is an alpha release (pre-Beta so you can get some idea on how it works and looks) from our development!

Requirements:
Mac OS X 10.5 or higher.

Please note that the software is not completed yet and has some missing features and bugs. I'll try to explain whatever is known and expected.

Functions, which should be working:
* Login/Logout.
* Getting your current list of items and groups.
* Adding a new item using Item number.
* Be able to activate/deactivate your snipe.
* Moving an item from one group to another (from pull-down menu only).
* Refresh item's information, Open in a Browser, Delete items.
* Check for Application Updates works (whenever update is available).

Missing functionality:
* Preferences mostly does not work.
* "Import Watching" is not done yet.
* "Group" button on the toolbar is not done.

Known Bugs:
* Sorting does not work completely.
* Sometimes crashes on login when can't connect (you just need to restart and try again).
* Changing "Stage" and "Payment" for an item does not work.

hi i've been using myibay for quite awhile now but i routinely have problems with my snipes n i get quite frustrated, wonder if the moderator could help me find out what's going on??
i set my snipes way before hand, and make sure they're activated with ample time, have a steady ebay account with no problems, and about 1 in 3 of my snipes don't go off...

e.g. latest one was 250410023184 item id.
my ebay username is rdw_l

another item was 180343930823..

i set the snipe 100bucks higher than the ending bid, and it was set way in advance as well.

also, just another question, does it matter if the seller has set his "ships to:" location only to US but i am in australia? does the sniper still work then?im pretty sure its worked succesfully for me even though the seller didn't put ship to worldwide but some of those i've missed have been shipping only to US...

Does my computer have to be on with myibay running, or does it still snipe for me even if my computer is off and/or I did not turn on myibay?

This may be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer to this, so I must ask.

I bid on an item at eBay the traditional way and am currently the highest bidder. Shortly thereafter, I installed the Myibay sniper and set up a snipe on that item. If I am still the high bidder in the final seconds of the auction, will Myibay still try to snipe that auction, or will it match my user name with the high bidder's name, recognize that I am the high bidder, and thereby leave the auction alone?

Not a lot of money is at stake here, but 1) I don't want to pay more than I have to, and 2) I don't want to have to explain to the seller why I decided to outbid myself.

I would be nice to be able to manually change the shipping price and also have the shipping correspond to the country I want. If I use eBay Canada for instance it shows me the US price and the Canadian price, this would be nice to see in the columns. Showing the eBay Item photo would be a real bonus to this software.

Y is it that I onLy Have 4 columns?
iv tried adding, but still have 4 in column.

I set up a snipe by entering the item number, clicking snipe, putting a check in that box, and entering my maximum amount. The FAQ said it should change colors, but its the same. Does this matter or is my snipe inactive as of right now.

Also, do I need the program running when the snipe is supposed to take place?

And if I'm the only bidder, does my bid still increase by a 50c increment or will it stay the same after the time the snipe should have taken place?

I used your web-based interface for the first time the evening. I placed my snipe bid from inside FireFox over 24 hours before the end of auction.

The auction ended without my bid being placed, even though I used the default 6 seconds, and my bid was $99.00 over the winning bid! I have dozens of feedbacks with a 100% rating, so there's nothing wrong with my eBay account.
I've double-checked the item number and description.

WHAT WENT WRONG?

This auction meant a lot to me, and I cannot assume that I'll ever have another chance at such an item again. What can I do to trust your web-based snipping add-on?

What exactly is error code 37 ? (could not win 37) I see it a lot and I am able to manually bid on these items, but the program cannot.

I'm considering changing my eBay ID to my real name. I think it is more open and should look better when I want to sell things.

I have quite a history in myibay which I don't want to lose; how can I make the ID changeover without losing my current history?

Hi, everything on the 'BUY' side works fine, but items listed in my 'SELL' side are not being updated. One of my items sold early with a 'Buy it now', yet it shows in my display as still being active. Another item has been bid on, yet the display shows '0' bids.

Any help here?

Lost serial number how can I get it back ?

I recently noticed that some of myibay bids (with default 6 sec timer) that were entered into myibay within 1-2 minutes of auctions' ending times appeared to have not gone off.

What is the minimum time needed for a bid to get scheduled and successfully fired off?

The current "Buy" page GUI on the web site isn't intuitive. If I have ten items on my list, I shouldn't have to go down to a submenu for each and every one of them just to get the latest states on all of them.

There needs to be a "refresh status" button next to the "update status" button in the main list view that updates "latest bid price", "number of bids" and "time left" for all selected auctions.

There also needs to be a "select all" button at the top and bottom of the column housing the selection boxes, instead of the currently used - (minus) button. What does the minus button do, delete items? That doesn't belong there. Put a "delete items" button beside the "refresh status" button.

The "time left" box is always empty. Worked just fine for the last few weeks since my trial period. Now suddenly it doesn't have the time left anymore. (I have 8 days left om my trial period) and I am pretty much sold on the product but am now wondering how stable the program is??? IDEA'S???
