I've checked myibay and I can't see "My Status" anywhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction please as this might show me why my snipe didn't work?

I just had an item missed and the status says "Extra confirmation (weak password?)". I've had snipes over the pass few days work fine and the password is sufficiently secure.

Any idea what would cause it?

I just downloaded a copy of MYIDBAY and it installed nicely. But I can't get anything to work. I clicked on the "download watchlist" button, nothing happened. I signed into Ebay, still nothing happened. I copy and pasted an item's ID into the field at the bottom left corner or your window, but it gave me an "invalid item number" error. I read thru a ton of your forum messages, but nothing addressed this issue. Please help.

I want to snipe an item on UK Ebay for which the closing time is 1930 hours BST (British Summer Time) which is GMT plus 1 hour i.e. GMT is 1830.
Myibay gives the ending time as 1130 PDT. As I understand it PDT is GMT - 7 hours.This would make the ending time 1830 GMT. Is the extra hour for BST taken account of - I can't see it for sure anywhere?

Does Myibay automatically adjust for time differences that occur in this way? In other words, should I worry about these various differences, and will I be sniping against the right times?

First, I've only just started using myibay, but so far it seems to work well. Nice work so far.

I'd like to propose a new feature. Often, I'll want to bid on multiple items from the same seller and take advantage of his combined shipping discount. I also take shipping costs into account when I calculate my max bid, so if I'm willing to pay $20 (total out-of-pocket cost) and shipping/handling charge is $5, the my max bid will be $15.

Now, if I win that item and the seller has a 2nd item I'd like to buy (also for $20 total out-of-pocket cost), but his combined shipping policy means that he'd only charge an extra $1 for an additional item, then I'd be willing to bid up to $19 for the 2nd item.

I'd love to be able to tell myibay something to the effect of: "If I win Item A, bump up my max bid for Item B by $X."

Hi! Thanks a lot for bringing such wonderful small simple looking software for eBidders. Its working wonderfully, every time.I tried some other sniping softwares before, but they are not delivering all the time, some time failing at last second and it feels awful when to loose at last seconds.

I like you to do some more simple modifications in your software, like :-
1. Automatic refreshing option.
2. Import from Bidding list- so far there is only option of import from watching list.

I downloaded myibay and it was working perfectly also had the icon on the auction page with my snipe amount and the maximum bid amount..Since then my PC crashed it has now been fixed and I cannot get that icon back on to the auction page for the item on which I am planning to win..Can you please supply an answer as to how i can get this back as it was a great idea you didn't have to log in all the time just click on the icon and you were able to change or update your snipe.. look forward to your reply..

Known Bugs:
* Sorting does not work completely.
* Sometimes crashes on login when can't connect (you just need to restart and try again).
* Changing "Stage" and "Payment" for an item does not work.

Great extension which I use all the time, however I have noticed that my New Window feature (CTRL+N) in no longer working in Firefox 3.0.11 when running the myibay extension (though a process of elimination). I am using Windows Vista Ultimate SP2.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

i noticed that the prices of my watches auctions are not updated regular by hour, minutes etc.

so the prices are still the same as i added while in real the prices are higher on eby itself.

Looking through this forum, I cannot find an explanation.
Strong password. Snipe was set I'd say 10-20 minutes before the end of auction. (And was activated).
I bought from this seller before and am not banned by him/her.
Seller is located in the same country, so no intl. issues.
Item ID is 180371648137, my username p.-r
My snipe was higher than the winning bid.
Yet "my status" says that my bid was too low.
As mentioned, this happened for the first time.
Any ideas ?? What am I missing ?

I activated sniper to bid on an item in my absence over the weekend. It didn't happen! There were no other bids and the item (120438579590) was not sold. Sniper shows the bid is still active, what did I do wrong?

I was bidding on an item. Time was set to the default 6 seconds at a price of $4.50. The final winning price was $4.34. When I checked the bid history of the item I wasnt even on the list. 0_o Why did this happen?And what can I do to prevent future occurrences?

I really find this sniper very usefull, but i have a problem

I did snipe over a 155 bids. The first 55 bids run very well,but the other 100 bids were a failure. There's a lot of bids that I supposed to be won but i'm losing (I have a higher price)

All of them want me to use BIN since my snipe is higher . . . there is no BIN on any of these auctions, nor was there when the items were listed (this seller very rarely/never uses BIN). What's up?

Hi all, I have been a HammerSnipe user for a long time but saw this plugin for Firefox and gave it a go. I won my first couple of bids, then I had unexpected failures. I bid on items ( the correct minium bid ) login , activate etc. I even "watch this item in ". The items have gone off with no bids?
I have read the FAQ's and some people are having "issues" it seems? I will keep testing some bids, but it is "erratic" for me at this time.
