Love the program.. It has helped me immensley..

One small suggestion..

A setting to specify what you want a 'Double Click' to do..

As it is now, the 'Double Click' displays the item clicked in a new Browser window.

Would be nice to set it so that the 'Double Click' opens up the SNIPE window.

Just a thought..

I am running XP with
Firefox 3.6.2 - just re-installed
Myibay 1.1.6 installed (twice now)
Symptom:
Snipe it button on listing appears after a bit of a delay, but fails to respond when I click it.

If I choose the 'open link in new tab' option all it does is open the listing up again in the new tab.

Hello! this is my first time using what sounds like an awesome add-on and am excited and hope it works.

I've read on the reviews that the few people who have had problems are those who didn't meet the seller's requirements. I have an item that I've already set Active to Snipe and REALLY do not want to lose this bid. Can anyone help me in what to look for and how to verify and make sure that I meet my sellers requirements?

And any other important things to know to make sure are in place before the bidding ends?

Why doesn't the shipping column update?
When I refresh more than one watched item at a time it very rarely updates,
I have more success when refreshing one item line at a time, but even then I still have a couple listed without the shipping charges showing.
I have just updated program and it still isn't working properly.
Other than that, it's a great program that I've used for a few years now.

Do you need to place a bid on an item in Ebay before activating your snipe?

Or will myibay still do its job before the final seconds of the auction and place your bid even if you haven't placed an inital bid in Ebay?

I recently made a bid using Myibay. I would have been the highest bid, but my bid was not submitted because the incremental amount changed. This is the second time this has happened with myibay.

Final price: 14.55
Snipe: 15.04
Status from eBay:
Could not win (3): Enter US $15.05 or more


For example, the winning bid was $14.55. My bid was 15.04. When I started bids were in 50 cent increments and If my bid was 15.05, I might have won. If I did it manually, I could have adjusted my bid, but with the sniper software I was committed to the amount entered. Not sure if this is a common problem, but would appreciate comments or suggestions.

Maybe it's just me, but I can never enter a new item using the web version from my iPhone. I can update a snipe from an item already entered, but I cannot add an item. When I enter the item number and click Add, the screen refreshes, but the item is not added to my list of snipes.

I did some snooping to see if I could figure out the issue, and it looks like it has something to do with the response code sent from the myibay server. I tried putting a simple form on one of my websites that would submit to the same place as the myibay form, and it didn't work either. Well - it worked from a desktop browser, but still not from the iPhone.

Doing some more snooping, I checked the http headers going back and forth, and noticed that when adding an item, it doesn't just sent back an HTTP 200 (OK). Instead it returns a 302 (Found), and then redirects to /main where it returns a 200.

Am I doing something wrong on my iPhone, or is it really not supported? If it is not supported, are there plans to support it?

And lastly thank you for such an awesome site! I use it daily for all my ebaying needs

I have installed the test programme to buy the desktop version. Nothing appears in ie8. In firefox i can snipe from the ebay page. In ie8 there is no snipe button or toolbar or right click option.

I placed a snipe for item number 250610973925 the winning bid was 14.50 my snipe was for 18.00 it was activated and it did not place it, the only other time this service did not work for me was when I had to change my password, why did it not work this time?

I am suddenly getting the error message "No eBay search results in your browser." when I hit the Snipe It button on eBay... Myibay was working perfectly for the last couple of weeks.. than this..

I tried my first snipe since moving from Auction Sentry and no snipe was made. The item was no. 150434278353 from UK ebay with a time set for 120 secs. Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

HI! I'm а USA buyer with an account at ebay.com. I make my purchases not only in the US, but also in Germany and France. I have had some successful bids with myibay on eBay.de, but my last bid was returned with an error 43, which says "The seller doesn't ship to the country where your primary shipping address is located". Yeah, it's right, I don't have the German address as my primary shipping address, but I have it in alternative addresses in my eBay account.
So, the question is how can I use myibay snipes with the foreign auctions?

I prefer to let myibay do the snipe without checking shipping address, because I can handle this with private messaging between the seller and me.
