today for eash snipe I want to make I get these mesage "No eBay search results in your browser." I get it in firefox and chrome.

Im sorry I forgot that your Myibidder software is completely independent.
Honestly it has become such an integral part of my ebay, that I forgot.

Hi,

I am trying to snipe item 120986419071, but it seems to be failing. When using the snipe option on eBay itself (via the Firefox extension) it shows this on the confirmation screen:

Item Id: 120986419071
Current Bid:
My Group:
My Time: seconds
My Snipe:
Activated: NO


Via the myibidder website it just doesn't add the snipe, and via the Android app I do actually get an error message, which is "Invalid eBay Item ID"

And ideas?

great program. at the time of purchase I use one <your eBay user id>. Later I change it to different <your eBay user id>. now myibay does not recognize my last eBay user ID.
Can you send my registration to - eBay:surrey_rider at the time of purchase Please?

When placing a snipe an error is generated in the log file; threading.py:533: RuntimeWarning: tp_compare didn't return -1 or -2 for exception. Is this of any importance? I use XP SP3, Google Chrome. Thanks in advance

My problem...
When I visit an auction I've already set a snipe for I no longer get the "current snipe..." displayed below the current bid information. And yes I've made sure i'm logged into myibidder. I also tried disabling all adblock software. The only thing I get is the "snipe it" link on the top right.
I've been experiencing the same thing on 2 separate laptops, both same exact setup.

I'm using Firefox 15.0.1. on Mac OSX 10.7.4 with myibidder addon 1.2.6

I used Android app to snipe on this item (370654283825), and it says I won the auction (in both Android app and web site) but I forgot to enter my e-mail address before the bid/snipe.

I did that afterwards (after auction ended), but I haven't got any confirmation/mail yet. Is my bid lost, and what should I do now?

You could use this as a suggestion for improving android app by not letting user snipe until e-mail address field is filled

Had a snipe last night that did not work. Shows up in my recap page, but did not execute. Placed snipe several hours prior to item closing.

when u set the maximum amount does it use the entire amount or only enough to win the bid?

According to myibidder I won a snipe on Wednesday for item 280968466445 (Touchpad).

However my ebay.uk account is not showing any signs of this auction win. Can anyone advise whether I did win or not? And if I did, how I actually pay for the thing as there seems to be no way otherwise.

Over the years I have used myibay with great success but this morning I missed out on an item and I'm not sure why.

I used the website version and I received confirmation that my bid was placed. Here is what the email said:

Any ideas?

Edit: I just went into my profile and discovered that "Snipe Target" was set to "auto". As I deal almost exclusively with Australian ebay I changed it to "eBay Australia".

I wonder whether this had anything to do with it?

I have been trying the SNIPE THESE on individual sellers over their entire auction list items. It appears that they add those that have been selected....however when I go to REFRESH FROM SERVER only one (1) item come into the list. I have to go back and then snipe each individual item. Any suggestions.

Can I watch Myibidder from my Iphone 4S. See whats going on when not at computer. Change things when needed. Without buying it again?/

Hi - relates to both Web base & Standalone versions. When I have refreshed any snipes on eBay Australia items, the currency symbol has changed to ? and the current bid is 0.00. The currency symbol in the snipe has also changed to ?. Will myibidder still recognise the the current bid on the item & snipe.

What would cause my snipes to double post on my snipe page?

I tried deleting the duplicate snipe; but that just caused the entire snipe to be deleted.

Also, would a double snipe cause a conflict during the sniping process? I suspect that it won't; but, I'm just wondering.

New to the forums and sorry if this is a repost, I didn't see it when i tried searching first.

I have to say I love this site, so I bought the software.

Is there an option to be emailed if the bidding goes over MAX snipe bid so I don't have to wait till the end or come back later and see on my own that I was out bidded ?
