I changed my ebay password and Myibidder to the new same password, but still message in Myibidder 'Refused login (password problem?)'.........

Hello - it would be helpful to have the option of displaying item photos on my list, as is done in the default list view on the eBay site. I know they take up a lot of real estate but displaying item photos would allow at-a-glance assessments of the current status of snipes.

If there is a concern that the upload/download time required to pull and display the photo will negatively impact list update times, maybe the thing to do is retrieve and display the photo just once when the list is populated or, in the case of newly added snipes, when a snipe is first added to the list.

Adding this functionality will have a huge positive impact on usefulness of the tool, far outweighing what I suspect would be the fairly low cost in terms of time and effort. I am hoping, given that photo display in one form or another has been suggested periodically for some time, that the priority has been bumped up over time... so please consider doing this sooner rather than later - maybe in the next release? Thanks much! I appreciate your considering it.

When I click on the Myibay icon, the little window opens as usual but sticks on "Processing" instead of offering the log-in dialog.

Tried reinstalling the addon; no help.

Hi I have had login issues for months which has result in being unable to use the chrome extension tool.

Password is the same as Ebay P/W. Can log into ebay but not myibidder either through the web page or via the ebay extension button to snipe an item.

Finally found your change password page on your website and changed it to reflect my ebay password. Again, unable to log in.

Can you help?

I've seen several examples where my snipe do not show the current bid. Sometimes bids have been made recently but often 1 or 2 days ago and the current price is still an older one. Seems that myibidder server is not collecting the info from eBay effectively.

This problem means I don't even get to make a bid sometimes because the current price has been over my snipe for some time before the end of the auction.

how can I retrieve my Mybidder password to log in from ebay ?

i am usa bidder , the german items are coming up as no such item . i checked and they are still listed on german ebay .

myibidder keeps responding back with a "Wrong UserID or Password"
* User ID and Password is exactly the same as I use on eBay, tried logging in multiple times now on eBay and there's no doubt I use the exact same userID and Password.

* Tried myibidder on multiple browsers, including the Android App. No luck, same error everywhere.

Any ideas?

I've bid on other items manually since without a problem. Is this because ebay sometimes has a problem with logins from different IP addresses within a short timescale?

I am feeling very disappointed right now. I bought the ibidder niper software for windows and then when I tried to use my sniper I got a message saying that the ebay required a verification code. I actually lost the sale due to this as I was willing to bid much higher than what the item went for ( I have now removed the program from my pc for fear this will happen again. There are currently some ongoing issues submitting bids to eBay due to captcha on their side.
I'll keep it posted on the progress.

I'm a new user and currently I've got two items within my max snipe but I didn't win them.
The reasons are eBay requires verification code; our snipe was too low due to eBay's bid increment system. I'm very confused about that and I wonder how to avoid the similar circumstances?

I sniped an auction at 10am CDT (US) this morning (10/17), the bid went through without the verification code error (Yaay!), but I got outbid ("You've been outsniped" is what the Myibidder e-mail stated, that's a new one - Boo!).

15 minutes later I get an e-mail from Ebay titled "Unauthorized use of your account -- action required". They reset my password and "Any unauthorized activity, such as buying or selling, has been canceled and any associated fees have been credited to your account.", which means had I won that auction from 15 minutes before, they would likely have cancelled my bid and I would have lost out on the item.

The reason this smells like another Myibidder issue is that the exact same thing happened a few days ago (might have been 3-4, haven't reset my Ebay password yet so can't get in to check messages for the exact date), I got the same e-mail from Ebay and now that I think of it, I believe it was shortly after a bid I made though Myibidder - one that I'm pretty sure went through as the only snipes that errored out were my typical 5-second ones.

It seems like too much of a coincidence for this to occur twice within a matter of days, and during an apparent period of security issues with Ebay & Myibidder. It certainly bears watching - I'd say it's just as bad or worse to lose an auction after it's over and you won, only to have Ebay snatch the item away due to an attempted account security breach - perhaps caused by logging into Myibidder and executing a snipe??

Has this happened to anyone else lately?

Have you seen eBay asking you to enter numbers to verify an action, like sending a message?

That is a captcha.

Usually they dont appear in the bidding sequence, but if eBay inserts them we can't automatically interpret them and hence can't bid.

over and over and over ....they keep saying that the 3rd party sniper needs to fix the problem of verification being required by ebay ......

just doing some research on here and saw to look at why they weren't placed and have the following errors
Temporary suspension due to eBay captcha or eBay requires verification code
last week i signed in online on my mobile to put a snipe on and then a couple of days later i was locked out of my ebay account and had to reset my password
today ive just had the same
none of my snipes are going in and im worried my account is getting compromised because of this app
any help?
