If you use Google Chrome, you can add Myibay extension to it for easy adding items to your snipe list.

You can download the extension using the following link:

Where do I find a list of the items I have placed sniping bids on? I thought it would be on "MyeBay", but it isn't.

I tried group bidding without good luck. I wound up winning three of the same items. I indicated one item for each auction. Lucky for me these were low priced auctions that I bid to try group sniping.

Hello....

Can you tell me is it possible to set a maximum bid for all items in a group....

ie... I am buying cables and I have about 20 in the group...can I set that the maximum bid for the group is $1.50 instead of having to do it in each of the auctions individually.

Many thanks for your help

Richard

Hi! First of all congratulations for your extremely good software and site.
I've been experiencing a few problems that I think it could be some kind of bug.
In this auction 180453684930 I got this message:
"You are registered in a country to which the seller doesn't ship".
It's not the first time I got this message and I clearly understand what it means but in this case I've tried to make a "normal" bid to this user and ebay accepted it (there are cases that ebay doesn't even accept bids because the seller only ship to residence country).
So I think this is a mistake. Myibay shouldn't accept bids only if ebay doesn't accept them too. And that is not what is hapenning. I've been loosing a couple of auctions because of this.
Thank you for attention.
Keep up the good work.
Best regards

Using both Web-based and Stand-alone together - any conflicts or delays?? Fri Jan 29, 2010 06:45 PM Quote

New computer built here, interested in buying and using the 'Stand-alone' software version on this machine to place some bids.
As I have used both processes in the past separately, but never on the same machine simultaneously, are there any recommendations on trying to use both the Web-based and the Stand-alone systems at the same time on only one EBay registered purchaser account? Will the two programs and two locations cause any EBay or bidding, sniping, delays or confusion when both are used on one EBay user account?
I do realize to not cross bid, that is to say, I know to not double bid using both processes on any particular item at EBay, however, will there be any delays or ID conflicts on the EBay site when using both techniques of bidding with only one process used for each EBay item?
Your program is very well designed, and I recommend it for all persons who cannot be present to bid in person. Well invested $$ of such a small amount for the Stand-alone software. Your Web-based system is great also, and both are a success story.
Thank you, dana

Hi, I was wondering if the stand alone product is in contact with or uses your web servers at all? If so, it is not truly stand alone. I also wanted to know how the stand alone program gets its time. Is it from your computers time or from a server? Thanks.

Hi,
I'm being prompted to update myibay, but I can't remember my password, and I don't want to lose this program!
I registered and paid for it so long ago, I'll have no chance of finding it now - or when I sent the paypal payment.
Is there anyway to get my password from inside the program before I update?

Many Thanks

Shep

I was thinking about bidding on an item on Ebay.co.uk this afternoon but noticed that the minimum bid amount on the Ebay website was different to the minimum bid amount in listed in MyIbay V.1.0.42 (Build 474).

The item had been bid up to £87.99. On Ebay it said that the minimum bid amount was £89.99, but in MyIbay the minimum bid was £88.99. Is there a bug in there somwhere perhaps?

Apart from that, ne of the most useful programs on the net. Ever.

I am happy to post the Ebay item number when bidding is finished if required.

First, thanks for this great extension.
My question is, can myibay log in to snipe at the same time as I'm logged in to eBay? Somehow I thought eBay wouldn't allow two different computers to log in to the same account at the same time. Up to this point I've just made certein that I'm logged out at snipe time.

thanx for the answer in advance. :)

hi there, downloaded/installed myibay..

put some items on it (from ebay) - used your help pages to work it out (by the way , it is web based)

how do i look what is in there (the three i put on already)..

on firefox, there is no icon - can get to it using tools-snipit using myibay.com..... but all it says is "No eBay search results in your browser."

have used your help and faq - but if i can't get to it in the first place, it does not help...

when i do put a new one in (on an ebay page and insert it) i can only see the one i am inserting and not the other ones.....

PLEASE HELP

I had a problem today when a browser window opened on www.sunbingo.co.uk - not at all relevant to Myibay, but it meant that I scanned with antispyware, and Malwarebytes came up with the attached.

[attached picture]

Is there an explanation?
